Took a chance, couldn't be happier!
I love my backpack! I got the red one. I am a student in grad school and my fiance surprised me with a new laptop. Problem was that he got me a 17" HP Pavilion and it didn't fit in my old backpack. To be honest, I was grateful for an excuse to get a new backpack because my old one was just a plain black one with an odd shape that seemed to throw off my posture. Not the case with this OGIO backpack though! Being small framed, I really feel that the straps fit my body better. The OGIO sits close to my body instead of leaning back like my old backpack did. I also feel like the straps are really comfortable and I noticed a huge difference in the weight distribution. My backpack now feels lighter on my back even though I have almost all the same items in it that I had in my last one and it is still heavy enough to trigger the passenger seatbelt reminder alarm when I put it in my car. Now, I will say that I was very hesitant to get this backpack because of the reviews that said it would not fit a 17" laptop, but I decided to see for myself. I did have to take out the extra roll of cushion that is velcroed to the bottom of the laptop compartment but then my laptop fit just fine. It is a snug fit though and I am not sure how well thicker laptops would fit but if you're in doubt, do what I did and just give it a try. Worst case, you send it back. In addition to my large screen laptop, I also carry 4 folders, a 5 subject notebook, a planner, and several pens, pencils, and random school supplies. Plus I usually have a textbook or two in there. It all fits and my back is still happy. I love the pockets that make it easy to keep my things organized. I also love that it's a gorgeous and grown up looking bag that I can continue to use even after I graduate. And the polka dots are the perfect touch of fun to appease the kid in me. I have been using it for a few months now and I have to say that I am also impressed by how durable it is and that it still looks like new even though I throw it around on the floor and my dogs walk all over it. Seriously, if you are on the fence, give it a try. There aren't many bags like this out there.

Love my bookbag....
After my ergonomic assessment at my new job, it was suggested I consider a bookbag for my laptop and other items as opposed to the roller bag I was using. We figured that since I have to carry the roller bag up steps, etc. from time to time that it was too heavy and may be causing some of my minor back issues.I absolutely love my red bag! Initially, I had my roller bag for my computer and a separate bag for my gym clothes. I can now put it all in one bag and then some. I still carry a small lunch bag and my purse separately but my lunch could probably fit. I am able to carry my laptop, phone cords and the papers I want to bring home to read (not a lot of papers but enough) in the biggest area of the bag; I carry my sneakers, workout pants, shirt, socks, bra, socks and facial cloths to take off my makeup in the next biggest area and I put do dads like travelling toothbrush, small mirror, etc. in the last pocket. My work keys and badge slide into the front. My water cup fits just fine on the side even when the bag has all of this stuff. Now, does my back feel better......yes! I won't say it's the bag that solved all my issues as I always need an ergonomic assessment when starting a new job; I can never fix the chair like I want and I have to wait to have my computer tray under the desk.....don't do well with the keyboard on the desk. Carrying the bag encourages me to walk the 4 flights of stairs in the morning when going in. I can carry all my stuff in my bag and my moderate heels and still make it up the steps just fine.Only gave it 4 stars due to the price as I found the prices varied across the board....not a lot but did vary after watching for a month or so and the red never being in stock where it was 20% off I went ahead and purchased on Amazon. That's all I can think of for now........good luck.

No back support
Fashionable? yes. Good for your back? no. It does not have ANY back support and if you need to carry a laptop, notepad, kindle, and maybe some food and coffee it will tear you apart. I had to buy a backpack with waist support at REI. I don't even feel the weight with this other one. The OGIO is in my closet now.

So pretty...
It is super cute, and I love how bright it is. It is smaller than expected. Smaller than my previous backpack, although it feels lighter when I stuff it full. It's hard to carry my water bottle when I have any books in it. I haven't even tried carrying my books and computer in the bag becasue with just the books it's hard to get anything else in. Today I packed my calc, python, and geo book along with my binder...it was super tight and hard to get things in and out of it.

Absolutely LOVE this backpack
Absolutely LOVE this backpack! I just recently bought the red color and it is beautiful and bright! Before this purchase though, I had bought and used this same OGIO Soho backpack in a black color for about a year. It was my first experience with an OGIO products. I had replaced my everyday purse with this backpack when I needed to be *hands free* while assisting my elderly parent during doctor and medical visits. This turned out to be perfect for carrying my light electronics, day planners, business cards, folders, a book to read, and water and snacks...along with other daily essentials. It is very light weight, very comfortable, functional, durable, and sleek! I have gotten compliments on it from complete strangers commenting on how adorable the pack is. I also threw it in the washing machine and it came out looking like new! It is still in great shape after using it for a year! I had gotten the red one to switch up the color once in a while, but the black one is still in excellent condition. Though I never really loaded it down too much with heavy books or computers like a student might, it certainly fit my needs, has held up great, and I continue to use this product as my daily bag. I would not hesitate to recommend this product!

Not a school backpack
This is just a computer bag (technology bag) shaped as a backpack. I was planning to use this for my books for school but nothing would fit - two binders in this does not work.
