NewYall Electric Fuel Pump Sending Unit

The good: The fuel pump portion of the assembly does exactly what it is supposed to do very well. Delivers great pressure to the fuel rail.The bad: The fuel level sending unit that is attached to the pump assembly is very inaccurate! I filled the tank after replacing the pump and the fuel level gauge showed full as it should have. After driving the jeep for around 150 miles the fuel level gauge showed less than an ⅛th of a tank. Figuring I had a milage issue, since it was a brand new unit, I filled up again. I was able to pump a little less than 9 gallons into a 20 gallon tank. After that fill up the fuel level gauge showed full again (as it should). After around 50 miles it showed only ½ a tank. Thinking it was an electrical issue at this point I replaced the gauge, all the wiring and connectors, and fuses for the pump/fuel level gauge and riffles the tank. Again it showed a full tank. I have put 175 miles on the full tank and the gauge was sitting at empty. I filled tge tank again and again only took 10 gallons and showed a full tank on the gauge.At this point I am not really paying attention to the fuel level gauge and just keeping track of my mileage.

Does NOT fit a 1992 Jeep Wrangler YJ with the 20 gallon plastic fuel tank. The fuel pump assembly is roughly an inch to tall! I should have known better considering the price. The unit also feels very cheap and flimsy, I don't think I would have used it regardless if it fit... The amount of time/work that's involved to drop the tank I would much rather have peace of mind and use a quality pump/sending unit! This was a complete waste of money! Now I have to spend even more for a better unit.......

Finally got around to working on my pump and bought this to replace the fuel pump in my 95 yj- needless to say, it’s about one inch too tall. Extremely disappointed since it said it would fit and now I’m stuck with a pump I can do nothing with.

Perfect OEM replacement, fit perfectly, plug and play, no problems. It would have been nice if they included the new gasket, but that was the only complaint that I have though so... Make sure to get a gasket ordered also!

The height of the pump does not allow for proper installation of the pump only 1/8 of inch gap is required for gasket fitment, this has over 1 inch and will need to modified to work. Update after dropping the tank and missing with the plug the pump does work but the plug is going to be an issue I can for see, add electric grease protect from the elements.

I us the for 1991jeep yj is not working

Works perfect on my 91YJ

It fit my YJ and works fine. The actual pump is half the size of OEM so if it fails it might be an issue replacing it without the entire assembly.
