Works just as good or better than original.
This cord is really flexible and lightweight. Replaced my old one with this new one for over a month now and have no problems. Works good with my Astro A40 TR and the mix amp. This kept me from buying a whole new headset and mix amp.

Better Than The Stock Astro Cable
First of all I think this product is an upgrade from the stock Astro provided cable. I have the Astro A40tr And they fit and work great. The cord is a different as this replacement has its cord braided but I prefer this 100x more than the default Astro Cable because my issue with the Astro cables were that it would get tangled often. Overall I prefer this product and it has so far been great.

Bought it this cable because mine got messed up so it worked perfectly with no problems and the one I chose was with only the mute button cuz thats how the original was and works like it should so worth the prize

Not a Real Mute!
WARNING the mute button is not a toggle, it's a push and hold. So in order to mute you have to literally hold the button down... goofy
