Will this work for wife over 50?

If that wife over 50 has a PC with a GPU that she needs to keep from pulling on a PCIe slot, and has an addressable header, then yes. For sagging of body parts, no, well maybe not a complete no as it functions like a jack but she wouldn't be able to use the RGB unless maybe she has like a laptop or something to plug it into and change the lighting on.

Does this require an rgb header? seems asus only gave me one on the b450f and that’s occupied

This comes with a 5v female connector. Be careful about the height of the gpu from the mounting point. my gpu was so high up that it couldnt reach without adding something at the bottom which moved due to vibration of the fans. When it moved from the set position it stabbed my gpu's middle fan. Luckily i noticed it and turned off my pc to remove the herclux.

When Armoury Crate can't tell the amount of LEDs, it will default to 120 LEDs, the person asking the question wants the exact amount, someone said 17, but it's actually more as it looks watered down, although it gives it a unique appearance that way too.
