Me too Walter, me too...
Walter, the Hendrix of the harp. This album is a good place to get acquainted with Little Walter. "Blue and Lonesome" is about as deep, dark, and indigo blue as it gets. The rest of the cuts on this get together are as fine as can be, dig the tape machine capstan noise at the beginning of "Roller Coaster"; pour yourself a drink (Walter would have ;) and groove.

Little Walter - What's to say
Wow, what can I say about this Chess compilation. First, it's a great companion piece to The Chess 50th Anniversary Collection with very little track duplicates. And, it has Little Walter's version of Blue and Lonesome, which The Rolling Stones recently tried, but only get honorable mention.

Important compilation
This Japanese pressing has a great selection of songs which was first released posthumously in 1969. The sound is great (for the era).
