This thing is freaking awesome. It very well made and seems like it will be the last one (of this size) that I'll ever have to purchase. It's perfect for a decent sized lemon and is a breeze to use. The only complaint I have is the company puts on the packaging that it's made in Michigan but slap that beautiful American flag on the box please. Be proud of the Made In USA win. I don't think you'll be disappointed if you buy this. I use it 3 times a week or more and have had it for several months now. I hand wash it and have had no tarnishing. I wash it right after use or a couple hours later at most. I'm not big on tossing stuff I use often in the dishwasher because I don't run it but a couple times a week at most and I know I'll have to hand wash it anyways since I use it more frequently than the dishwasher. Haven't used oranges in it yet but I'm sure I could quarter them and it'll work. If I remember to do so, I'll update the review if I do.

I thought my previous citrus squeezer (purchased on this site) was such a steal. However, as the yellow finish slowly started chipping off--and the hinge broke in less than a year--I realized it was not worth the price of how it could potentially be exposing me to toxic chemicals. I had not bothered to research where it was manufactured. I won't make that mistake again.I am reassured by the fact that this lemon-squeezer is made in the US of stainless steel. I think it is well worth the investment as I expect I will not have to re-purchase another one for many, many years.

Although we were happy with the first several uses, the thin finish has worn off within a few months. The underlying metal is corroded and staining the lemons and it is now flaking off. This is definitely not stainless. I must now go find a real stainless squeezer.

I love the weight of this citrus press; it practically does all the work! After my last plastic press got over-squeezed, one of the cogs in the mechanism broke and it needed replacing. I like that this one has a simple hinge instead of a wheel so it's a lot less likely to break.I also like that the holes are much smaller and capture more of the seeds.I'm hopeful this is the last citrus press I'll ever have to buy!

This is probably the fifth squeezer I've owned and used. It's the second of the stainless variety. Hands down, this is the best. It gets the most juice from the lime and is very easy to clean.

Though I have used quite a lot of lemon squeezer's in my life so far that are made out of plastics and thin steel or aluminum, i wanted to try this one as it was looking great in the picture online. When i just received it a short while ago, held it in my hand and squeezed one lemon, the experience was amazing! So sturdy, durable with elite finish. Great product. Credits to my wife as she was the one who picked this item!

Unsatisfied with my previous lemon squeezer, this ended up being a downgrade.First is it's not stronger than a lemon. The problem is really in the design of all of the stainless steel squeezers I have bought yet, the base cup shape just collapses and bends and needs to be reinforced with a lip of some sort. They could be made way cheaper and lighter just with proper engineering.Next this squeezer has manufacturing errors, it looks like it was sand cast and has some pitting in it. It also has the appearance of something that has been plated and has become heavily tarnished from the dishwasher, making me doubt it's actually stainless steel.

I was really impressed with the quality. I hoped it was solid stainless steel but the description wasn’t clear. It worked well and really extracted the juice. However, after about 1 1/2 years of use one half of the handle broke off while squeezing a lemon. The material is clearly not solid stainless steel. It appears to be a cheaper material (what my dad used to call pot metal) coated in stainless steel. I’ll try another brand as I had hoped this would last forever and not end up in the landfill.
