Loved the story and illustrations. Came across a second hand copy by chance in a local event and then had to buy copies for friends and family. Wonderfully produced - really recommend it.

An ancestor of the cajun tale of the 'loop garou', blue dog spends her afterlife wandering through many scenes,trying to find her owner still in the world of the living. It is hard to describe the power in blue dogs mournful eyes,her mystery intensified through each of the many paintings in this collection. As it says in the introduction to blue dog man 'there's just something about that dog'. An artist who's work is to be seen to be believed. It will move you,though you won't be able to explain exactly why.
