A great TV but...
This TV would be a fantastic purchase but for one flaw. I dont know its its just mine or they all do this but upon turning the TV on from Standby, no buttons on the remote work for around 30-60 seconds (volume buttons, smart TV features, channel. Up/down). Its as if the TV or remote has to warm up before anything works. The red IR receiver on the TV lights up when remote buttons are pressed so I've no idea whats wrong.

Great upgrade from old TV
Very impressed with the 4K picture.Audio is as with any flat panel TV not that great, adding a sound bar to the TV make a massive difference , especially with the bass. The remote control works fine with no issues, but I have an issues with remote controls in general, they are just far to complicated with to many buttons.I did have issues with the legs as they weren't adjustable and overhung my existing TV stand, something that could so easily have been remedied when the product was designed. This was quickly remedied with the following https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01H36QAN4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Great bedroom TV
If you want a large, smart, decent quality TV then this is perfect. Got it in the sales and glad I chose this.Incredibly easy to setup using digital aerial. Easy to connect to our wifi. Easy to install on a wall. The picture settings are not amazing but if you invest a bit of time searching the forums for best settings you will get a better quality image than the default settings it comes with.Sound is decent, but again we only use it in the bedroom so never need to blast out films to test it properly. Never have trouble hearing speech like some TVs though.Overall, for the price, you really canβt fault it for a bedroom TV.

HMDI input is too small... But a pretty good T.V
Iv had this T.V for a couple months. The picture quality feels great, even when compared to my Samsung TV thats 3 times the price. The look and feel of the T.V is also great. Its pretty slim bezels, and the T.V is definitely lighter than many other 50" T.Vs.The controller however really isnt that great. I have had it not work a few times now with the only fix to pull the batteries out of the back and put them back in. The volume button requres the might of Thor to press to actually get it to go down in volume, wich is really anoying if you are trying to turn the T.V down when the phone rings etc.Lastly and probably the most irratating thing about the T.V is the HDMI inputs on the back. They sit in a hollowed grove in the back cover of the T.V which is pretty normal. However the clearence is only about 50mm. This means that anything but the most flexable and lightwieght hdmis have to be bent into place and put tones of strain on the conection. Its honestly the the most stupid deisng I have ever seen. I tried 5 of my HDMIs and most of them just didnt fit properly. Normaly T.Vs have a larger clearence space for the Cables or a sloped section, or they are mounted all on the side with full clearence. Not impressed by this design.

Fantastic TV for a low price
I did a lot of shopping around to finally pick a TV to replace my old plasma, finally deciding on this, at first glance it looked cheap & flimsy, especially when fitting the legs. Once I switched it on & went through to my HD channels to see what it could manage, it was dazzling how good the picture is considering it only cost Β£299 for the 43". The only downsides are the remote which is big & clunky, the mute button is also bang in the middle of the volume rather than an individual button? Also the picture slightly had trouble with some dark scenes in places, but for the price is still well worth the purchase.

Poor Quality
I bought this TV September 2021 and the screen has had these lines for the past few weeks and it is gradually getting worse. Would buy either a different model or brand. A bit disappointed as I alway thought Philips was a decent brand and it's alot of money for a TV to break before it's even 2 years old.

Great all-round TV.
The TV looks great and the picture and sound quality are awesome π the only thing that let's this TV down is the remote and the software installed within.

Incorrect dimensions, no Bluetooth, no Disney+
I purchased this Philips 43PUS7555 at a discounted price from Amazon Warehouse because the dimensions photo on the Amazon listing shows it as being 18.8cm deep with the legs attached I.E. shallow enough to stand on our 20cm deep fireplace. It is actually 22.4cm deep. I immediately contacted Amazon customer services chat and they offered a further discount so I thought, fine, I'll spend the refunded amount on a TV wall-mount kit. But now I've tested the TV. The image quality is disappointing for a 4K TV - it's not a patch on the same-sized Samsung 4K TV we bought last year. But the deal breakers for me are that it doesn't have Disney+, there's no way to install Disney+ onto it and it DOESN'T even have bluetooth! I thought this was manufactured in 2021, not 1995! I checked Amazon's Q&As before purchasing this TV and two previous buyers had said that you can get Disney+ on it. Let me tell you: you can't - not without spending extra on a chromecast or similar, which defeats the purpose of paying extra for a "Smart" TV in the first place. I didn't check whether it had Bluetooth because, come on, it's supposedly a Smart TV! Thankfully this was being sold with "Free Returns" so I'm sending it back.
