Great stones
I work professionally as a chef. Used to use the cheap whetstones for years. Switching to these made a bigger difference than I expected. Using the cheap whetstones over the years was a waste of time. Now I can get a nice, mirror-like edge on my blades that cut so much better. Highly recommended.

Great
Brilliant stuff I should have got a flattening stone with this order.

Good feel and easy to use.
These are now my go to stones for resharpening most of my knives, being splash and go makes them easy to use. I still use a diamond stone if I need to reprofile or remove a chip from an edge, but these feel much nicer to use.

Best investment in kitchen
How to put it... simply best kitchen investment I made in years. Takes a lot of effort and training, but results are worth it. But definitely will advise to buy Naniwa 600 dressing stone.

Professional, quality, satisfaction
I'm just a novice workshop carpenter in England, and Iv wanted some kind of sharpening stone for my chisles for the longest time, came across these and they are fab, no problems just wet and go, razor sharp blades in moments... Just going up in the grits just gives a mirror finish, definitely grabbing the 8k and 12k at some point.

Satisfying to use
Love it, can't compare it with the cheaper stuff. It's so easy and smooth don't have to worry about chipping the stone with the knife.

All the stones you need for a great price
No complaints at all. Used all 3 to sharpen up 4 of my dull kitchen knives. They all can shave the hair off my arm now. Used with the Scottchen over sink whetstone holder (highly recommended) and a leather strop. Best value for the money for all three stone. They will be all you need to get your blades razor sharp!

SO easy to use and great value for money
The Shapton ceramic Japanese stones have been on my wish list for many years. Up until now I have used water stones which have served me well But these are less messy then the water stones that have to be soaked. I supplement these with a leather strop charged with 1.5 micron diamond paste which is equivalent to 10,000 - 15,000 stones. These give me a perfect edge on my woodworking chisels, plane blades, and also my leather skiving knives. These stones will see me out and serve my son well when I pass them on.
