just get a Bic and be done with it
my girl likes to write in all different colors, is that too much to ask? i don’t think so, but after getting her fancy pens tha leaked, smeared, and felt rough to write with i went back to what i know works, a good old Bic pen. smooth writing, no smearing, feels good in your hand, and cheaper than the fancy pens!

Great pens
Love these pens - have used for years. They fit my fingers well, although the shape has been changed some. The ink isn't as pretty green as previous ones but still my favorite pen. Glad to be able to find them.

The colored equivalent of the black-and-white BIC pen.
This four-star rating is based on quality FOR THE PRICE. This is the color equivalent of the ubiquitous BIC black-and-white pen with black ink--an uninspiring, but dependable and cheap pen that writes well and you get them by the dozen because you don't mind losing them or having a customer walk away with it.These are dependable pens with non-clogging ink, good contrast against the paper, they last fairly long without drying up and don't sputter ink blogs on your paper. They are also not the easiest pens to write long texts with as they do have a certain resistance instead of easy-flow--which makes it tiring to write with for a long time. Other types of pens, like gel pens (which have more watery inks) are more comfortable for long hand-writing exercises. (PaperMate pens are easier to write with--they flow better--but are a bit more expensive.)I am a consumer of the black-and-white BIC because of the price and easy accessibility. I had to buy this pack of the green ink equivalent because, for some reason I can't begin to imagine, my grandson's 3rd grade teachers require that each child have a "package of green ink pens" (quoted from the online 3rd Grade School supply list )As such, I expect these will do the job--whatever that might be.

Solid pen
These BIC Grip Xtra-Comfort pens are a real game-changer for me. The rubber grip is super comfy on my hand, even during long writing sessions. The ink flow is smooth and consistent, and the medium point is perfect for everyday note-taking and journaling. Plus, the green color is surprisingly vibrant. Highly recommend!

About What You'd Expect From A Bic Pen
Amazon seems to be the only place I can find green ballpoint pens these days, so I ordered these. They are the regular high quality, long lasting ink that one would expect from a Bic pen, and since this is a 12 pack, they will last a long time.

Wait for sales on these and then stock up
Good basic pen. I use blue, green, and red pens for work. These are inexpensive reliable pens. When they are on sale they are the same cost as poor quality pens that either stop writing or worse puke ink everywhere. They are reasonably comfortable for note taking. But at least with my bigger hands, I wouldn't want to write for hours with them.
