Average system but night vision is not good
I had this system professionally installed. I had some problems with one of the cameras but the tecnical assistance from swan is very good and the problems sorted. The user manual is rubbish as it does not , in my view, follow any logical sequence,, It also does not explain thinge clearly. this means that if you follow the instructions your not 100% sure if you have done the right thing. The camera problem s that I had were resolved by going to a screen option that is not even mentioned in the manual. If I buy another system in future it will be WiFi and not hard wired.

Great picture quality and good phone app for when you are out.
Picture quality is really good both through the day and also at night.Easy to adjust the settings and set up either manual recording or motion sensor recording. The app and notifications work perfectly so I can check my home when I'm not there.

Crap quality and blurry
Have had these for 1 year now, within the first 2 months the LED security light stopped working on ALL the cameras.the FPS is too low which causes a huge blur during playback, as people walk by they have a ghosting effect, faces are unrecognizable and car regs are unreadable.Zooming in to read even large text is almost impossible making the whole purpose of having cctv pointless.Don't bother with a 1080p version.

Standard Swann easy fit. Cables provided are a little thin carful when pulling a ling run. Picture quality is reasonable for the type of equipment pre fully digital era. Excellent value at a sale price.

Poor night vision
The item is misleading it makes out you can see in colour at night when in fact you have to have the camera light on all night.
