Google Sheet Functions: A step-by-step guide (Google Workspace apps)

This book is exceptionally easy to follow and understand. With every minute I spent reading, I could genuinely feel my knowledge expanding. It’s practical, concise, and perfectly structured to help you grasp concepts quickly. I highly recommend it to anyone with limited time who wants to master the tool up to an intermediate level in a short period.

Very thorough and I like the book format instead of switching back & forth between online help tabs or taking a full class on Sheets. Find what you need quickly and you can keep your screen focused on the data at hand. I am using this for Data Analytics Certification course; have just always used Excel but this is a course by Google, SO.

The only book you need for Google sheets

No fluff, just the information you want to get up and running with Google Sheets. There are plenty of examples and illustrations to explain the various ways to use the functions. This book seems to have all the functions you may want or need to use Sheets effectively. You can't go wrong with Barrie Roberts' book.

Book is for people that are new leatnets of Google Sheets. Very basic information

Caveat I follow "barrie" on g+ I bought this book solely on his writing style on that platform. Few if any can write a "how to book" that explains function and also relates examples that explain the usefulness of the functions he is describing. This is rare. Note most use nonsensical examples. Admittedly I am interested in switch my focus from microsoft to google prodcuct. Further his depiction of premise, then showing the formula in the box where it is on the program.

Anyone looking to learn about the functions available in Google Sheets will find this book addition to have saved on their Kindles. For the price, I was very happy with this book.

The examples were great. This gave me the info I needed to really get going on creating efficient spreadsheets. Highly recommend.

Having been told about Google sheets and how helpful it would be for me. I decided to explore the whole Google experience beginning with “sheets”, so first call was to get a book and see how helpful sheets really is. I’ve not been disappointed in the book in fact it’s proved extremely helpful , easy to follow and understand. As someone who’s never really taken much notice of spreadsheets I can say that I am a complete novice and the book has been a great help in guiding me along the way. It really is a well written book with all the info you require to get up and running with sheets . I use it everyday and would definitely recommend it to anyone either beginners or experienced with Google sheets or Excel , you’ll learn loads or brush up on your sheets knowledge. Iam working my way round formula and other sheet stuff. I am also finding many task etc I can use my sheets knowledge on, so I think this is a definite win win book. Buy it you won’t regret it.
