Tom Jones - Greatest Hits

What a great album. I had forgotten about Mr. Tom Jones until a video randomly populated. Then all the memories flooded back. So glad to find this on CD! It is a MUST have for you music collection. No one else belts it out like Tom Jones and he has been doing it all his life. Everyone thought he was going to blow out his vocal chords, but it is the way he sings. Best of all - he gives it his all every time. A true entertainer lost to younger generations, except for fans of Carlton from "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air" but here for us to remember and enjoy. And a BIG "Thank You" to Mr. Tom Jones

This is such a wonderful selection of songs. He sings with such vocal strength and energy, I continue to enjoy this CD on a regular basis.

This is a great disc! All of Tom's Greatest Hits in one package minus one complete song. Instead of the full version of "You Can Leave Your Hat On" from the film "The Full Monty" like it should have been, we get a crappy medley of songs from the film. So, instead of 5 Stars, I only gave it 4. You know they always have to rip you off a song or two so you'll have to buy another disc or album to get ALL of an artist's greatest hits. It's a big screw the fans out of a bit more money to feed the label, management, or licensee more money by making them buy more!

I've liked Tom Jones since I was a kid. My friends would gag when I played his stuff. But Tom Jones can croon like nobody else on planet earth. Some songs on this are tear jerkers. Great album.

What's not to love about Sir Tom? I'm furious they booted him in favor of Boy George.

若い頃良く聴いたTillを聴きたくて探していたところ、TOM JONESのこのCDに辿りつきました。 サビからの歌い出しは、この曲をより素晴らしいものにしていました。 かっては歌ではなくベルトケンプフェルトバンド演奏でした。 TOM JONESのディライラ等のヒット曲もあり楽しんでいます。

Tom Jones hatte ja vor etlichen Jahren (Jahrzehnten ?) schon einmal fast alle seine Hits völlig neu eingespielt und total verfremdet. Wer will denn sowas hören? Greatest Hits sind immer etwas für echte Fans. Und die mögen's noch nicht mal irgendwie digital bearbeitet. Die echten Sachen! Von früher! Wie hier auf dieser CD. Wobei auch die Stücke nicht fehlen, die er in den Achtzigern und Neunzigern mit bekannten Künstlern zu Riesenhits gemacht hat ("Sexbomb“ zum Beispiel, u.a.m.). Tolle Scheibe, Bestzustand, prompte Lieferung. Schönen Dank !
