Dero Tech Rechargeable Digital Hearing Amplifiwr

This model is exactly what we were looking for. My 90y/o Father is very hard of hearing. He has Alzheimer's and was missing out on every conversation. Now with this BTE sound amp he can partake in the conversation. It reduces unwanted noises. With other types (in the ear canal) he heard every noise in the house and the in the ear type would stick out. This model is small and the instructions that come with it were easy for him to follow and put them on himself. That is a WIN WIN for our family and for our Father. We only purchased 1 to see how it was after going through 4 different styles etc. Thank goodness for Amazon Prime. We will be purchasing another for his other ear. This model is rechargeable so no more fussing with batteries. 5 stars all the way. Also the company Dero Tech sent an email with instructions and advise. Very happy with this purchase.

Have ordered several because they don't last but they do the trick without much feedback. I like how small they are and the coil is virtually invisible. They are plastic and cheesy and the coil somehow gets loose from the base but for the money, they are better than no hearing at all until I upgrade to the more expensive true hearing aids.

I like this product, it works as stated. It didn't come with ear pieces small enough for me to get a proper seal so I do experience some feedback. I'm not sure if it's related to the seal but the sound from these is very electronic. Everything sounds like you're hearing it on an answering machine. That said, they work very well for watching tv and are worth the price you pay. They are quite comfortable and charge well. Voices are distorted though. I would recommend this product to someone on a budget, just don't expect the same quality as a hearing aid.(I've had no issues with the on/off switch like some people had)

I was very happy with my hearing aid but had to return because on switch would not work. I was immediately refunded and I was going to reorder but it is not available on Amazon at this time. I'm disappointed because I truly liked it. I will buy again if it becomes available. Dero Tech and Amazon were excellent on customer service. Thank you.

Excellent product. Exceeds my expectations. I wear a hearing aid in one ear already but was noticing a loss of conversation level hearing in the other ear. This amplifier filled the void. It is great to hear every conversation again. Thanks for an great product at a very fair price. CAW.

I have severe hearing loss in 1 ear and some hearing loss in my other ear and it can be difficult to catch everything being said in class--especially if the professor is soft spoken. I can't afford hearing aides and I thought I would give these a try. Sadly, they make it worse. I actually hear better without them. I'm surprised there are so many good reviews. The ear buds are very low quality, so the sound is quite distorted and echoey. It sounds like I am wearing a 5 dollar pair of ear phones. Actually, it sounds like I am using a tin can. It's that bad.

Good volume, comfortable, I have worn aides and amplified devices fot over ten years (I have a major loss in both ears). The only problem I've had with these is that the on-off switch breaks after about three weeks, making them useless. I'm buying more and will use them by removing the battery rather than the switch

The reviews gave me high hopes for this device. I have meniere's and bad tinnitus and fair degre of hearing loss. Just about any amplification helps. But this device delivers such distorted sound I'm better off without.
