Well featured GPS unit ๐
Well built, robust unit, same size, as Canons own GPS device. This has more functionality plus a high capacity built in rechargeable battery. Only down side is lack of compass function in the Canon R5 that I'm using it on but overall I'm pleased.

No success with Canon R5 Mark II and no supprt
Unfortunately no connection to the Canon R5 Mark II. No response from Solmeta after weeks. Cables are only USB A and MiniUSB compatible; no USB C. Also no success with a hotshoe adapter.

Altitude cannot be calibrated
I've been using this for some time with a Nikon D3200 and find that most of the functions are accurate but the altitude measuring is really hit and miss with variations at the same place and variations from known data of between 5 and 10 metres and sometimes as much as 30m. It can't be calibrated. I guess that this is because it was calibrated at a local Weather Station (in China) atmospheric pressure. and the default can't be changed. Setting of GPS altitude only allows change of units - not calibration. I would probably give it 5 stars if this was fixed.
