good domestic earphone; poor durability
Amazing sound, however, I really worry about its durability, so I only wear this at home.== After 1 year ===I wear this at the outside as well with caution.I had SE215 SE535 previously. Their vocal sound fantastic, but were lacking other parts.(SInce I listen all kinds of music)They also mainly took sometimes to put it on, while this TDK BA200 takes literally 1.5s to put it on.This one is the most balanced earphone ever so far I would say.I looked the 1-star review for this: few whining about defective units, few about lacking support. Not a big deal for me so far.MAIN PRO:- the most balanced sound- really really comfortable(change your eartips plz)MAIN CONS:- durability issue: the thickness of the cable: treat it with care- (according to to others) lacking support from company

Making music
I have owned many pairs for in ear headphones over the last several years, and in general they are more about utility (compact) and less about sound quality. That was until I came upon these gems. I was on a business trip and stopped with a co-worker for dinner. He had these headphones and commented that they sounded great, so with curiosity, I asked if I could check them out. I put them on and started listening to one of my favorite songs, and about 10 seconds into the experience I knew I would own a pair of these headphones. And I am still amazed every time I put them on, they simply sound amazing. Matter of fact, when I first got my pair and plugged them into my phone running Google music I was a bit less than satisfied. I just could not get the music to sound as great as it had when I tried out my co-workers headphones. So I finally called him and asked what might be causing the proble, and he knew right away. To save on bandwidth I my Google music setup to run with a lower quality (read less bandwidth) of sound. On my other headphones, this had never been an issue. But these phones are so remarkable that the low quality of the music signal was immediately identifiable. So when you buy these phones, and you know you will, make sure your google online music account is set to the high quality setting to fully enjoy the capabilities of these heaphones.

Make your ears happy
I tend to prefer over the ear headphones because I find them more comfortable and they provide superior sound. But, there are times when you need an IEM and when you do you should be reaching for a pair of these. Most IEM's hurt my ears but remarkably I find these to be very comfortable, even for prolonged listening periods. They sound great, fantastic mids and highs and great bass as well. The soundstage is expansive and amazing for a pair of IEM's. I have had pairs that cost several hundred dollars more that cannot come close to matching these. I find myself using IEM's more and more, they are that good.

Amazing dual balanced armature at a great price
Like the other reviewer I have no clue what that one reviewer is talking about as it makes no sense to me but I digress. This will be short and sweet because you can find plenty of reviews on Head-Fi and blogs. Before I got these I said the e-Q5 is as good or better but after getting the BA200 I think its a bit better than the e-Q5, not by much but enough that I'd recommend these over the e-Q5 for most applications. They have a warm, smooth and detailed sound with an awesome soundstage that has very good width, depth and height. Bass is plentiful for me with good impact and depth along with detailed smooth mids and highs. There's not many if any IEM's you can get under $300 or or even $400 that sound much better than these do, so if the smooth warm detailed sound with a spacious soundstage is a signature you like than the BA200 is a fantastic choice.Edit;I've bought and sold a lot of IEM's and now that I've been getting more into proper headphones like the HD600 and HE-400 I sold these awhile back along with others like the e-Q5 and SM3. Since I saw they were on sale for $121 I had to get another pair because these really are one of the best under $400 IEM's you can get imo, they are about 90% or so of the SM3's SQ so for under $150 (even $200) that's just a steal. Now I'm going to sale my T-Peos H-200 hybrid (even though its one of my favorite IEM's to date) to help fund my Hifiman HE-500 purchase.

Good sound and comfortable
These sound excellent and natural. I got these for about $120. If you spend five times as much maybe you'll convince yourself that you get better sound but I think the law of diminishing returns means that the difference is going to be pretty small. I find at this point I am limited more by the quality of my music sources than by equipment (I listen mostly to classical music and some jazz and rock).Of course your results will depend on the fit you get, for me the included Comply tips work well. I find them comfortable to wear for several hours. Can't speak about durability since I've only had these a few weeks but they seem well made.

A great Warm tone BA
The great: warm NATURE tone, the separation, the detailsThe cons: Sub bass extends, burn-in takes WEEKS.It sound like s*** when arrived, and got to normal BA level after 50 hours, and... after few weeks, i surprisingly notice that the sound really keep improving, i.e. burn in take WEEKS.The bass: good, punchy, nature, but no sub bass (<40hz) extendsThe mids: warm, but details voice, the separation of voice and instr are great here. The high: not that crystal, but very details, sometime too details to hear the flaw of dac/record.sound stage: relatively small but 3-D sound stage.

Good if you like a balanced and smooth sound
These are laid back sounding IEMS but they still have good balance and clarity. If you're looking for a warm and smooth sound then I'd highly recommend them. The build quality seems good enough. Isolation is pretty solid. These are comparable to IEMS up to $300. I got them for about $120 so they were a lot more of a bargain than now at $150, but they're still a good buy.
