Elegant, well made, looks great
No complaints about this block! Works as intended and looks good.If you want to mount it to a tile backsplash, use some double-sided Gorilla sticky tape along the entire back to mount it. Some command strips might work too.

LOVE IT!
Perfect for most of my blades. The magnets are not strong enough to hold my meat cleaver but are good enough to hold my Chinese vegetable cleaver. Cleavers are the same size except the meat cleaver has thicker metal so it weights a little more and will just slide off over night super slowly.

Weak Magnet
Nice finishing quality and feel. Looks good.Magnet pretty weak, though. Four different brand knives mad from different steel have problems really grabbing onto the strip. They just kind of slip and fall until the look askew. Would be 5 stars if the magnet was stronger.

Aesthtically pleasing and functional!
Mounts to wall on inset mounting brackets that are very sturdy. It still moves a bit when you grab a larger knife but it's not beyond what I expected. It currently holds at least 6 larger knives and a kitchen shears. Super useful and extremely happy with my purchase. :)

Great knife magnet
Package arrived quickly, easy to install, looks great.Very nice quality and it was hard to find something that was not made in all metal. This looks so much better in wood. They also have a lighter color but the darker matches perfectly with my kitchen cabinets.

Warped and poor magnet strength
I received two of these hanging magnetic knife holders. The first was ordered and the second was a “defective” replacement.The Acacia wood of the first is very nice quality. The magnet held my knives firmly. Unfortunately it was severally bowed and twisted and did not sit against my wall. Every time I grabbed a knife it would rock and wobble, no matter how much I tightened it. I tried to shim it to stop the rocking but it was too far gone. I put it on a level and you can clearly see light underneath it. I returned it and asked for a replacement.The replacement arrived the next day. The Acacia wood was inferior to the first. This one was also warped and twisted but not as bad as the first. Unfortunately, the magnet on this one was not strong and my knives easily slid off the holder. Bizarre given how well the first one held my knives. Mounted, the holder still rocked on my wall.It’s evident that this manufacturer has quality control issues and it is basically luck of the draw whether you get a usable one or not. I don’t have patience for another replacement so I am returning to get my money back.For so little effort, the manufacturer could have an excellent product at a great price but they choose to cut corners, use questionable magnets, and improperly dry their Acacia wood. At the same time, waste beautiful Acacia wood on return prone merchandise. Shame on them!

Strong and great looking wall mounted knife magnet
I bought this after reading various reviews on similar products, and prices varied from reasonable to expensive. I am really pleased with it.The wood finish is extremely nice looking and the magnet is incredibly strong. It’s also the perfect size to fit under my split level kitchen unit.I was wary as some reviews said it wasn’t strong enough for their knife collection. It certainly is for our knives which includes a heavy meat cleaver and a carving fork with limited metal holding the heavy handle.I highly recommend this product.

Doesn’t hold knives
The magnets are too weak to hold the knives. They drop off and dent the counter. Am returning this product. Shame because it is really pretty!

Great storage
Very good and well made item. Looks good and sturdy knife holder. Only negative is that it looses some magnetic force near to 5he ends. Instructions are a little confusing, tells you to fit plastic brackets behind holder...what plastic brackets. Comes with three screws and three three wall plugs...only has two holes
