Ellie Shoes Men's 125-matey Knee High Boot

I am happy with these boots. I wear a mens 10.5 wide and I ordered the medium (10-11) size. They fit very well with just a bit of space which can easily be tightened up with thick socks, if needed. The main thing I underestimated was the calf diameter. Be careful. I have decently thick calves and these boots just barely work for me with the upper calf part, but, after I get them on, I can move fine. I just want to be caution regarding the zipper.Like other comment(s) said, these are not for day-to-day use but for special events. I like the fact that the zipper has an inside lip (to help the zipper not catch pants when zipping up) and that there is a nice bit of padding on the insole.Overall, I'm happy with this purchase.

Ok, so to explain that headline, I skipped these boots *three* times before finally going with these. I was so convinced by the "Ellie Shoes" brand that these had to be for women. Having received 3 pairs of ill-fitting boots, I figured I had nothing to lose and decided I could always return these if needed. I *wish* I had just ordered these the first go around. They are the perfect fit; the zip closes perfectly, and they look amazing. I am still waiting on the full costume I am putting together, but these are absolutely perfect for Darth Tyranus.

I ordered these boots on Amazon in order to try them on to see if they fit, and would only be charged if I opted to keep them. After trying them, I walked around a good bit, left them on for a few hours in a recliner, then walked around in them again, it was clear to me that the fit was very near perfect. So I opted to keep them and only then did Amazon charge me for the sale amount. I did not have to get dressed to go to a shoe store, did not have to drive to get to a store, and was able to try them out at home to ensure that I had a good fit. What a great way to get shoes that I can try before I buy, and be assured that I will like them! Bravo Amazon!

Could be more comfortable but some insoles inserted and ur good looked great with my dark jedi outfit

I got these boots for a han solo costume. The look the part, but they aren't comfy enough for wearing with anything other than a costume.

Good comfort and support with an added insole. Used for an amateur theatrical production. Looked great but scuffed a little. They don't breathe so taking them off after four hours is less than an olfactoral delight.

Support is economy grade but they're not Docs. They're comfortable for light wear and get the job done nicely. These were purchased for a star wars jedi costume for a cosplay event, and looked great with the ensemble.
