While I've never been a "supplements person" in that I've always put food choices far above supplements, I have experimented with many vitamins, herbs, etc. over the last forty-plus years. During that time, only three supplements have had a completely unambiguous, wholly positive effect in a matter of a few days. This is one of them. (The other two are psyllium and green banana powder.)My motivation for this was that for at least a couple of years I'd had trouble recalling words, at least three or four times a day, often a lot more. This particularly worried me because for most of my life I'd had a very good memory, borne out by various tests and skills-oriented competitions, and those abilities seemed to be undergoing a quick deterioration relatively early (late 50s/early 60s). I told myself that "life gives us more things to remember, not fewer" and that we only have finite capacity for remembering, but I never found much comfort in that. I'm glad I didn't take comfort in it because in the end that discomfort motivated me to buy this product.Within five days my memory lapses were gone. They went from 3-12 per day to now at most once a week. I did not expect this level of results at all. I have not felt or otherwise found evidence of any negative side effects.

It's an excellent product that I've been using for quite awhile with science to support it.

I wanted clearer thinking, more brain energy, but that is not what I got. I suspect it is the goto kola. It is sad, because there were positives, but outweighed by the negatives. I have purchased empty capsules and will try a much reduced dose to see if I can have some of the benefits of more mental energy, which I definitely got, along with feeling very motivated to get busy. Heart beat thumping in my chest and feeling totally "wired" was not appreciated. Be careful.
