FR-SE GFO Hang-On Filter Media Reactor

The media could not be loaded. I love it, I have 2 Aquamaxx skimmers and trust this brand so I didn't think twice about ordering this reactor, I ordered a 400gph unilife pump and it didn't tumble the biopellets quite as well as it should so I put gfo in and it works perfect, I also ordered another one and went with a 800gph pump to run my biopellets, I haven't gotten the 2nd one yet but I'm sure 800gph will be more than I need probably could have gotten a 600 but rather have to much than not enough power, I ordered the 2 little fishies one and sent it back because of the top mounting issues, I'd rather spend 20 more bucks than have it leak on my floor

Good reactor for the price , can’t go wrong with an Aqua max. I used mounted on the side of my tank with the brackets included an plumbed with a cheap Amazon listed pump pushing 150gph..inside I’m using Gfo an my tank nutrient problem has really diminished.

Made a macro algae reactor out of this, works great. Need a bit more force on the plastic screws than I expected to keep it from leaking. I'm expecting those screws to strip out eventually but we will see, if so I'll update the review and deduct a star but it's not fair to ding it in advance.

Very high quality. Definitely recommend. I'm probably going to buy a couple more to make a large capacity algae reactor.

As described!! Great to use with bio media like bio balls or bio spheres. It attaches easy to any sump.
