Radico Colour Me Organic (Soft Black)

I had been coloring my hair with pure henna powder (going to an Indian salon to have it done) for about 2 years now and was getting tired of the lighter/reddish hues so I thought I would give this one a try. I left it on for 3 hours, I think I'm going to try 4 hours next time as a few grays weren't colored at the roots--or I might go to the salon with the powder to have it applied properly by my usual hair lady. It's henna based but has other plants in it, the shade is really black and shiny :-)

Deserves no stars. It's absolute garbage. If stinks, doesn't color hair and leaves an unattractive green tint on your hair. Terrible product.

I kept it in my hair to process for 1 hour. I was really happy with the thickness and beauty it left my hair. The color was natural looking not dyed-like. The only negative I have is the smell of what seems to be henna. It gave me a slight headache and the green comes out every tine I shampoo. It didn’t cover my grays entirely. With that said, I will give it another try. I will leave it in 2 hours next time to process better. This is far healthier than commercial dyes education is full of very toxic cancer causing chemicals.

This product is good. however, you've to be patient enough to wait for the color to change (I had to wait 90 minutes)when you apply the instruction correctly. the other problem was that it starts to fade and hair color changes to purple.

Great product. Had a lot of brassy highlights. Put it in for 50 minutes. This brought my hair back to a shiny natural black while still showing enough highlights for dimension. Love it. Still have half the box left for another use.

I'm not a fan of this hair dye, and wouldn't buy it again. There are two major drawbacks: - Time consuming: It took two treatments for the color to work. My hair was barely dyed after the first 1.5 hours, so the next day, I had to dye it for 2 additional hours. AND, the manufacturer should doublecheck their reco to mix 1:3 (dye powder: water)--the dye paste was way too watery. - Awful swampy odor: The dye left a strong, unpleasant odor on my hair that smelled like a swamp. Even after washing it several times, my hair still smelled awful. The odor disappears when the hair is dry, but the second it gets wet, the swamp odor returns.

Good product. It left my hair feeling soft. I will definitely buy again.

Worst hair product ever used! Not only did it not color my hair, it smelled bad!!

I kpet it on my hair for 4, 5 hours, and it didn't cover my grey hair. Also, now my hair smells like manure.
