I completely echo what the other very positive reviews are saying here. I needed a new computer and stated searching Amazon and other online sites. Was not excited to buy any of the big names. I just wanted quality parts assembled by people who know what they are doing, and technical support from someone who speaks English well and isn't just reading from a script. I also didn't want all the "free" trial software and services normally junking up the big name computers. AA Computers X4 suited my needs perfectly. No, I had never heard of them, but the amazon reviews were very positive over a period of years, so I took the plunge. (This is the fourth version of this model and I started looking when probably hundreds of positive reviews for the previous version were still visible on amazon.)Since I live very close by to AA Computers, I even had the opportunity to meet Aaron and one of his techies in person. These are honest people building honest computers. How refreshing! They were very friendly and helpful.I know laptops are popular these days, but I'd been using an old Sony for a long time and found that unless you hook up a real keyboard and monitor, they are just not that user friendly, especially for long work sessions. Because the price of the X4 was so reasonable, I was able to also buy a tablet. You want portability, the tablet may be sufficient, depending on your situation. That means the desktop is the way to go as your main computer.This model has everything needed by the typical home or small business user. Plenty of processor speed, memory and a large hard drive.Highly recommend!Oh,I wanted to pass along a tip. If you are using iTunes for music on this computer, you'll want to change one of the settings in iTunes in order to maximize the sound quality. Open iTunes and go into Edit/Preferences and select the Playback button at the top. You want to use the drop down menus to select 24 bit and 48 KHz. The default setting was only for 16-bit, but the onboard sound for this computer is the much better 24-bit. I did hear a real improvement in sound quality after making this change. How did I know what the settings should be? I had previously gone into the Control Panel and clicked "sound" and saw what the specs were. Unless iTunes has changed in the past few weeks, you'll want to do this.

The best support EVER. Great machine, super super nice person to help you out when you have a problem... it doesn't get better folks. I won't just say "would buy from again" -- I _will_ buy from again, no question. My absolute HIGHEST recommendation. I can't say enough about this company and the incredible attention I have received when I had a problem -- and it turned out it wasn't the new machine causing the problem! And Aaron went so far out of his way to help me get it fixed... EXTREMELY happy with this computer and the company. Seriously... this is how it SHOULD be. I just cannot say enough, so I'll just stop :)

Takes a bit of getting use to but I am very pleased.

Keeps freezing up

I was not impressed with this pc. It was loud and hot. I sent it back. Enough said. You could build your own pc better...for less.The case was extremely cheap....Rosewill. Buyer beware.

I am so impressed with this computer and the technical support. I was nervous about buying a non-brand computer but could not pass up the excellent specs on this one and the lack of bloatware (except for Google Chrome). Nice job, guys! We will be back for more. NOTE: no wireless adapter comes with this computer.

I have been fixing computers for about 10 years professionally, and I've been running an old XP myself for years. Why? I never seen anything that I like well enough to buy over the years. Fixing computers, you learn what NOT to buy. I had a list of what I wanted, but on the general market of brands, unless I wanted to pay $1500, I wasn't going to get what I wanted in a computer. I found AA computers by accident searching for my dream computer AGAIN, looking for what I thought didn't exist in my price range.I was impressed, to say the least. It was like they read my list of needs and wants for a computer. When I received my computer it was more impressive than I ever expected. It came with the disc, that most computers these days don't come with anymore. I recommend this computer for everyone needing a home computer/Small business computer. It will outlast my 11 year old XP hands down. I wanted a computer that had it all and I didn't have to do anything but plug it in...I got what I wanted at a fraction of the other brands prices.Who offers a 3 year warranty on anything these days? A company that knows what they have is a GREAT product! My $3000 washer and dryer came with a one year warranty!In Conclusion, if you want a good computer that will last, you will save money in the long run by not buying the name brand one size fit none computers that are currently on the market. Buy a Computer that fits YOU and your lifestyle, don't try and fit yourself to a computer.AA Computers have a high quality product line of computers on the market, and that's backed by excellence in customer service. Don't get on the internet highway with a Volkswagon Bug when you can do it with a Lambergini Galado!This was a great company that made great computers. Unfortunately, I was informed that due to too many fraudulent returns and faulty warranty claims (computers that were sent to them at their expense due to the customer doing something to the computer or misrepresenting the issue.) the company had to file bankruptcy.
