The wife loves this. Uv nail polish is the way to go. This uv nail dryer works great especially if you wanna do your nails quick and move on to your next task. Easy to use, dries nails quick. Great product.

Had it almost 2 years now and I must say works really good with builder gel, hard gel, dip nails any gel products for the price I can get's amazing and I love it so far

I find this works very well with my nails, but occasionally a nail will get really hot when using it. I'm not sure if it's something I'm doing in my preparation (or is a chemical reaction as the questions state), but it seems really random, and moving my hand slightly seems to alleviate the heat. So I'm not completely confident it's consistent in the amount of LED light hitting each nail. But I won't hold this against the machine, just something to expect.I also noticed for 30, 60, and 90 second cycles, the number on the top of the dryer counts down. For 120 seconds, it counts up. That's very odd.

Professional manicurist, 36 yrs, most of my business is gels. I’ve been thru a lot of dryers over the yrs, and I won’t purchase this one again. It’s not bad per se, but not good enough for me. Bad points1. Very short cord, have to use an extension cord just to put it on a shelf that’s only about 4ft off the ground and the plug is directly below it.2. There are “blind spots” in the light placement. The outside of thumbs do not get enough light and often have to be dried separately. With my business that’s too much time. Might be fine for someone doing their own nails at home.3. HIGHLY pigmented colors, ie white, black, navy, dark burgundy, will take longer to dry. They just don’t cure hard enough sometimes even after 90 seconds.4. There is no setting for low heat. If you work with hard gels this can be critical for some clients, they can have a painful heat spikeHope this review is helpful, especially for other professionals. This dryer is perfectly capable of doing a good job for a DYIer, but wouldn’t recommend it for use all day everyday
