My son takes his Switch back and forth between his mothers house and mine. Got this so he could play at both places without having to lug the base back and forth as well. Has worked very well.

The design is small and sleek. It has a good video quality. Its easy to use and durable for kids.

The stock switch dock doesn't allow you to view the switch when docked. The stock dock also doesn't allow heat to leave the switch when in use, so it gets the switch pretty warm.This dock not only docks/charges the switch on an open area to allow heat to leave the switch. But it also allows you to view the switch and use it as a stand.The only con I've found so far is that it's not build durable. It is a cheap plastic that ended up breaking on me. The product still works, but the internal electronic are off kilter so it's hard to plug the power cable in.For the price I would absolutely buy another one. Just wish it was built a little thicker.

I woke up this morning super excited to receive my brand new Chinese 2 inch long knock off version of the Nintendo switch dock. I waited and waited and waited until finally at 7:43 PM I receive a knock at the front door. I sprinted faster than my ginormous legs could carry me, I opened the door, and sitting right there was my new 2 inch long Chinese knock off Nintendo Switch dock. I ran inside bouncing up and down in joy “Yippee” I shouted as excitement crawled up and down my spine and i began to open the packaging. “There it is” I said as I grabbed my new 2 inch long Chinese switch dock knock off and began hooking it up to my 75 inch Samsung smart TV. I sat back in my chair and launched Metroid Prime Remastered. I began to feel the excitement kick in as butterflies filled my stomach and my face felt like it was melting off. I then noticed something was off. It felt like I was trying to run the game off a switch that I had gotten off of wish. I was lagging so bad and the game was unplayable. I turned the switch off in disappointment, and laid back in bed thinking all night about the inconveniences that this dock has caused me. Now I have to drive 5 minutes down the road to my local ups store so that I can get my money back 😭

My DVD player sparked and blew all components connected to my TV with HDMI cables. The switch docking station was one of those components. I was lucky that the actual Switch did not blow. I ordered this docking station, it arrived quickly and when it said it would. This dock is actually more aesthetically pleasing than the original. It sits at an angle with nothing blocking the view of the screen. The price was very reasonable. Everything works like a charm now. I wrote another review of this transaction on accident, it was not meant for this seller. I am sorry I mistakenly reviewed this, so I am writing this new review to make up for my previous mistake.

This actually worked amazing, and super cheap for the product! 10/10 would recommend this!

So I needed another dock for our house as we have different rooms we like playing in, so I bought this one because it was rated well. And, overall, it’s fine, but it doesn’t work consistently. Getting to to register that the Switch has been plugged in can be tricky, and it doesn’t always work right even when you do. What prompted me to come on here to write this is that just now, my Switch’s battery ran out. But it’s been on the dock as I’ve been playing on my TV for a few hours now. So…it’s plugged in, because it’s displaying to the TV, but it wasn’t charging for some reason? I pulled the Switch out then put it back, and is now saying that it’s charging. So, it works, usually. But the fact that it’s not consistent is pretty annoying.

After spending 2 days trying to get my grandsons Nintendo Switch to work on his new roku TV. I got extremely frustrated so I ordered this product. His original docking station worked fine on our old TV but for some reason with this new one it kept saying no signal than would work for a bit and back to no signal. Anyway I ordered this today it came about 4 hours later I just hooked it up and not once did we get no signal. Nintendo has been working fine so far. If there are any issues I will write another review. As for now I'm very happy with this product. Not to mention how small it is which is great. I highly recommend this product.
