Absolutely wonderful sound
I've not owned a flute before in any incarnation, but as far as it goes, I'm loving this as much first, or introduction.It's easy to play, and easy to learn to play. If you've not played one before, there are excellent tutorials on YouTube from how to prepare the Reed through to playing. I mention this because there are comments complaining that the instrument makes no sound. To those people - who don't mention if the instrument is damaged - I would suggest it's more user error than it not working.I may get one in another key at some point, but for now I'm going to adore this little beauty.

Waste of money
Almost put myself into respiratory failure trying to get a single note out of mine.Got ZIP!Gave it to a musician I know who plays flute.He couldn't either.

An inexpensive way to start playing
This is an ideal instrument to start with. Nicely made with good intonation it is pleasant to play. Ideal also if you are thinking of learning to play the classical western flute.

No matter how much you try you wont get as much of a squeak out of this waste of money. There's difficult and there's a scam and this is one of them.
