yellow not blond, feels like my hair was dipped in the ocean
I ordered one recieved 2 and cant return one of them? I hate this product!!! I tried it one yesterday in hopes that it would work on my grey roots. I seen the reviews and was hoping this product was gooing to work. I put it on clean dry hair and it feels awful in my hair. I dont like the way my hair feels. not only that but as I brushed my hair all this static electricity started making my hair stand up. even after trying hair spray to keep the hair from standing up it just didnt work. I still see my grey and I have light grey so it shouldnt have made it hard to cover. also what came out was yellow. YELLOW? not light to medium blond root coverage. its awful! feels awful and im stuck with 2 cans because its not returnable. buyer beware

Recommend! Makes Me Look Younger!
Love that it covers my white hair close to my face with a nice honey blonde shade.

That is a good thing though
Since I have not colored my hair in over a year and a half, this is mostly my natural color with some lingering highlights (the reason my hair is more blonde at the tips of some strands). I can spot the grays in my hair without zooming in, but feel free to zoom in (thanks if you have zoom) for a closer look. The left picture (top) is the before, and the right picture (bottom) in the after picture. When I look at the after picture, I only spot one gray (I'm not telling where I spot it, so you can play Where's Waldo). It is likely I just missed that spot. This spray definitely covers grays as long as the product coats the strands of hair with them. In my attempt not to stain my head (which I did the first time I used this but it washed right out), I held the sprayer farther back. I also sprayed for a shorter period. If you have more grays and do not mind a slightly stained scalp, you could spray closer to your scalp and for a longer period. This should cover them all. The sprayer disheveled my hair a bit, but it is somewhat repairable. As long as you get a color that is close to your natural hair color, this should work. The color of mine is so close to my natural color that my husband insisted he could not tell a difference. That is a good thing though. I do not want an obvious difference. Just cover my grays and blend in with my hair. He is a gentleman and barely notices my grays though, even though I am sure he really sees them. It definitely works and looks completely natural if you buy the right color and do not spray too close to your scalp. The price is a little steep at $9.99 for 2 ounces, but I've already used it three times and feel there is a lot left. It will probably last a while. My hair is naturally soft (despite being frizzy), and this hardens it a bit. I would liken it to the feeling of a light hold hairspray, so it is not too bad. This also adds a bit of frizz I cannot work out since this is the last product I apply. A brush will put everything back in place, but that sticky feeling is not fun to brush through. If you have a lot of gray or regrowth from your natural color blending in with your bottled color, this is a great item for your arsenal. As someone with a little gray and natural hair, I will not purchase this for a while. Once the gray takes over, I will be all over this. I received this one for free from BzzAgent.

Does not cover silver roots...UPDATED
UPDATE: After writing my first review, I received some suggestions from L'Oreal Paris, which can be read in the comments section. I waited until my roots grew in again to try the suggestions. I believe I may have shaken the can a little too vigorously the first time, and only foam was coming out, which would explain the poor coverage. This time, the product did come out yellow. I applied once, let it dry and applied again. It did cover the gray, however, it also tinted my scalp yellow and left my hair dull and tacky. So, although it technically covers the gray, I gave it one more star. I still would not use again. Also, it left my scalp itchy, and I normally do not have sensitive skin. Original review: I tried the product for free thanks to L’Oreal Paris. I color my roots every two weeks to keep my silver hair from becoming too visible. I'm always on the lookout for a temporary fix that will enable me to wait longer between coloring. This is not it, at least for me. My natural color is a mix of silver and medium brown. I color my hair 7N, which is blonde, so the silver grow-out isn't as obvious as it is against my natural color. I did not expect this to cover the brown roots, but I was hoping it would cover the silver roots, making them look blonde so they wouldn't be so obvious. Unfortunately, I could not get this product to cover the silver. It did lighten the brown roots somewhat, but the silver still showed through. It might work for someone who has dull gray hair, or possibly for white hair, but if you roots are a metallic silver like mine, it doesn't work.

Good for in between coloring

A big no!
Horrible! Did not lighten dark roots on a wig. Hardly looked any different at all. Left an incredible stickiness and took 3 washings to get out. I would never buy this product for any purpose ever again. Maybe on natural hair it would be different but I found it awful.

Will not purchase again
I haven’t tried anything like this before, and won’t again. The texture is gross. I can feel it sitting on my head without touching with my hands. When I do touch it, it’s stiff and gross. The color, is like gold paint, not shiny or in any way natural looking. Disappointing.

TERRIBLE
Doesn’t cover brown hair. Waxy texture on the hair. Absolutely horrendous look. There is no way that anyone actually uses this stuff.

Cover's roots well.
Works well to cover roots and gives my hair a bit of a lift ...easy to use just aim the nosel where you want coverage and press the leaver. It dries pretty quickly with out any sticky mess and easy to comb afterwards. Will wash out in one shampoo. Smaller than I thought but I'm happy for the price it's all good. Recommended.
