Greatest worst thing you'll ever buy
Public service announcement for all parents. Do you see this? Look with your tired eyes on what is known as the Rock and Play. It is a magical thing your newborn will love. It will deliver oh so many wonderful sleep filled nights and long uninterrupted naps. But beware, this thing will betray you faster than Cersei Lannister. Your baby will be oh so addicted to its snugglie rocking motion that all other sleeping areas will be considered pits of fire and despair. You will develop a love hate relationship, you will adore it for it's calming affect yet still want to fling its light metal frame from a high tower. Buy at your own risk and pray to old gods and the new that when your baby outgrows it, you survive the futile attempts made at transitioning your baby out of its comforting contours. And whatever you do, for the love of all things holy, never let your child discover they can be glided back and forth over smooth carpet in this thing. Because then you will spend your nights toning your upper body by pushing this thing back and forth while your tiny dictator...I mean baby...dozes off.It was easy to put together although don't do it while sleep deprived because then you end up doing it wrong and have to say many words of cursing and probably end up using half a bottle of super glue to adhere the legs into their sockets. But the cover is very easy to take off and wash.

A must-buy
I wish I had this for my first baby. My second baby slept like a dream in this for the first 7 months of his life. I kept him right next to our bed for the first 5 months, then moved him to his nursery to get used to being in there. I was afraid transitioning to the crib would be difficult, but it honestly wasn't so bad. My son's head is perfectly round, so no issues with flat spots due to the rock-n-play. It was nice and light, so I could bring it into the bathroom while I showered and take it to friends' houses with us for naps. I think this is a must for all new parents.

I love this rocker, but I LOVE the "auto rock 'n play" even more!
We bought this rocker for our new baby and we love it. However, he liked to be rocked in it and I would get so tired of rocking him in it as he slept during the night. Fisher-Price makes this napper (it's slightly smaller) that has an automatic rocker on it! When I found that out, we decided to buy it as well so I wouldn't have to stay up rocking this napper. Now we keep this one downstairs and the "auto rock 'n play" upstairs in our bedroom. Our baby has been sleeping through the night for nearly four weeks now in the "auto rock 'n play". So, although I love this napper, the "auto rock 'n play" totally saved my sanity and is really the way to go!

The ONLY Baby Gift I Ever Buy For New Moms
If you know anyone having a baby, skip the registry and BUY THIS. It is the best gift you can give. It is awesome for newborns to sleep in beside your bed, great for rocking them to sleep, fantastic to throw in the car when traveling to Grandmas or visiting friends and having a safe, comfortable place for baby to nap, and even months later is a great place baby can play or relax in that buckles so you can go throw a wash in the dryer without worrying about the baby going anywhere (when they are at crawling age) This is a MUST for travel, as I have used it for baby to sleep in at hotel rooms and even in tents when we went camping. There were some nights my baby would not sleep unless he was rocked in this thing.Stop wondering and buy it, you won't regret it.

Great bed for many reasons!!
This really was a life saver! My 2 mo old was so colicky and had bad reflux. This bed holds her nice and snug and in an elevated position. She has done so much better sleeping in this. It's easy to fold and move where ever I am too. So light and durable. The vibration is a good strong one and actually has calmed her down a few times! (Which in my case was huge) it stays on for 20 minutes. It's real easy to rock, it would be nice if it rocked on it's own but that wasn't a selling point for me. She is now 5 1/2 mo old and I still have her in it. She's gettin a little long for it but she loves it so I'm waiting till I absolutely have to upgrade her to a crib. The elevation is just such a perk and stress reliever cuz she still spits up a lot. It's been perfect for us!

Deluxe rock n play
I got the deluxe rock ‘n play, and if I could I would have bought the regular one. It has settings to auto rock for either half an hr or for six hrs. You can set the rocking motion to music or nature sounds. The vibrations is what I really like. However, on the deluxe you can only set the vibrations for 30 mins at a time.. which sucks cause baby wakes up as soon as the vibrations stop. From other reviews it sounded like the vibrations on the rock n play would go on until you pushed the off button. With deluxe you don’t get both?.. I still really like it, and would buy it again.. just not deluxe. Design is really pretty and neutral. Everything came quickly and without issue.

AMAZING.
LOVE THE ROCK N PLAY. LOVE LOVE LOVE. The first 6 weeks with my newborn were pretty rough in terms of sleep. We got this at 5-6 weeks and she slept 6 hours straight in it right away. She is 10 weeks old now and sleeps 8 hours in it at night wakes to feed and goes back to sleep for another 2-3 hours. We tried to put her down in her bassinet (which she naps in during the day) one night and she only slept 4 hours before she woke up. The next night we didn't make that mistake again. And she was back to sleeping her usual 8 hours. I'm not sure what it is about this thing but it does wonders for sleep. I know I will have to transition her out of the rock n play one day and I dread the day! But for now I am enjoying my sleep. The baby is enjoying her sleep too :)

Love this rocker, best baby buy
This rocker was the best thing I bought for my baby! He has reflux issues and the incline is so helpful. Also, it was great for putting him to sleep right when we brought him home because it cuddles him a bit. The vibration feature is really nice but in less than seven weeks ours stopped being able to work well even with new batteries. However, our baby does fine without it so I'm still super glad we made this purchase. So easy to carry around the house. I even lay a towel over this and put my baby in it after a bath, easiest way to dry off a wet baby.
