lasted less than 3 weeks on my key chain
I bought this key as soon as it was released by Feitian a few years back. After less than 3 weeks this thing started coming apart on the metal ring that protects the inside of the hole to attach it to the key chain. I need to carry this with me 24/7 and to reliably last me for may years, if this happened after only the first few weeks I cannot trust this product. I switched to a Yubikey and 2+ years later it's a bit battered but still working fine. Granted my current yubikey does not have fingerprint authentication but now there's a new model that does ($95, so not cheap). I would probably buy this key if I needed the USB A model that's made out of metal, but the USB C is a no go for me.

Doesn't work for Windows Hello
It doesn't really work, but it seems like it used to, so I would guess a Windows update broke it between now and early 2020. Windows hello does not recognize this as a valid finger print reader and I can't any find drivers or any documentation, so it sound like it's meant to be plug and play. It recognizes the security key, allows you to set pin and fingerprints, but you can not use this as a Windows Hello fingerprint reader to login in its current state. Closest thing I've managed is it will work as MFA with Feitians middleman app and I got it working for MFA on a Linux device, but that's it. Probably going to return as defective. It doesn't do what it says it does.
