I purchased to add to a Pioneer head unit, speakers, and self-powered subwoofer that I previously installed. I went with this amp specifically because of the small size because I wanted to hide it in the dash of my truck. Prior to installing the amp, the head unit volume would have to be on about 25/60 to have sufficient volume at highway speeds. With this amp, it's now 4/60. As per installation instructions, the amp was tuned and the result is incredible. Crystal clear. This was installed in a '99 Dodge Ram with four door speakers and two tweeters. With this amplifier, this system sounds every bit as good as the 10 speaker B&O system in my newer truck.

Overall works as expected. It does get pretty warm though. No fear of it catching fire it just gets hotter then other amps I’ve used in the past. I installed this as a new amp for my 2019 tundra.

Installed this into my 2018 Subaru Impreza base model. Install is straightforward. I highly recommend getting a male and female wiring harness for this thing so you don’t have to cut any factory wiring. (Metra 71-1761 and metra 70-1761 for my car.) I replaced my factory speakers with kicker speakers and I just wasn’t able to drive them effectively with the stock head unit. After installing this, I can easily fill my car with clear powerful sound. It’s a bit pricey for what it is, (2/3 the cost of a new head unit) but if you want to keep your radio stock, it’s the best option to get useable sound out of the radio.

So far it's a nice little amp. I was able to fit it under the original radio in my dash and I've been playing it pretty loud because it's a convertible and it doesn't cut out and it's plenty loud. Make sure that the speaker / low level or RCA switches set correctly for your set up. I forgot to do mine and it was slightly overdriven but sounded perfect after I remembered to switch it to speaker since I'm using the factory radio and wiring

In my '16 4Runner, I have to use more than half of the full volume range to get decent sound out of the stock radio. This Amp is pretty cheap all things considered. I installed it under the passenger seat to allow it to breath a bit. Running it 4-channel, with speaker level input. Even at very low gain settings the power output through the speakers is soooo much better. Be warned that there will be a (what I consider) very minor hiss when there is no sound output at all, but how many times do you have the radio on with nothing coming out? I would buy again.

DOA I hooked it up straight to the battery and had a good ground, never came on. Also the seller claims that it was new but there's scuffs all over it and the gains were messed with. I have bought amps my whole lifeand never has it came with the gains adjusted alrew. Be aware that the seller false advertise their products. Dont get scammed like i did. Will be buying a regular amp next week and go with what i know works.

Bought this amp to install in my Tundra and it was missing both of the wiring harnesses that plug into the amp. Returned for refund..... Buying the next one from Crutchfield

Nice and easy to install good little amp

Very disapointed when my installer called me tell me harness that came with this product should have had RCAs on it but the box came with a used harness that someone had previously cut/modified. He told me he can make it work and that the amplifier itself looks new but this is poor practice considering the amount being spent on a "new" unit.
