Good brace but the size was wrong. It was marked XL but still too small for my 35 waist size.

It's an amazing back brace, but please order a size up. I'm a medium built 62 y/o woman and my weight is 139lbs. I ordered L/XL and the back brace barely fitted me. So, I will reorder 2XL, and I think it would fit me perfectly. Otherwise this back brace was made with the highest quality, very sturdy, and will provide an excellent back support. Thank you for making a good product.

I am a 45 year old woman, and in good shape. I have struggled after the birth of my daughter (18 years ago) with left hip pain. She was a very large baby but the way. I have always felt like my left side has never been as strong after her birthday. Most recently, I did ALOT of work in my backyard, and boy, did I mess up my back. I try to walk daily on my walking pas, but I could barely do that. My hip and entire lower back were in such pain. Even walking my dog daily hurt. I finally decided to look at braces to aide in my healing. I went back and forth trying to research and read reviews. I finally pulled the trigger on this one. I must say, o am EXTREMELY impressed and happy with this purchase. It has taken away pain and I will use it Everytime I walk on my walking pas for extra support, in addition to, doing yard work or anything physical around my house. I have never used a back brace before, but this has been a GOD send for me. I highly recommend.

I needed a replacement for my old (like decades-old) copper-infused back support brace, and this one floated to the top of the recommendations/reviews. (Actually, I started with the older Featol one, but it apparently had a supply issue, so when Amazon refunded that order, I switched to this newer one.) It's more substantial than the old one - wider (top to bottom), with multiple layers, and with the metal lumbar support - and that seems to result in more support for my back. I found the instructions a little mystifying, but actually getting the belt on and adjusted was actually a snap. It does take a bit of muscle to get the velcro to let go when you want to tighten or loosen one of the belt ends; but that aside it wasn't hard to figure out. And once on, it was immediately comfortable and my back was notably less tight, right away. I notice that the aluminum insert seems to prompt me to stand straighter, too, which also helps. The one issue I have is that it does seem to get warm rather quickly. Not unbearably when I'm not moving a lot; but I think I will continue to use the older one when I'm doing anything physical especially outside in the summertime. Otherwise, this is a recommended product for those with lower back problems. (Muscle-related, that is - if your spine itself is the issue, then see a physician!)

I ordered LG/XL as I wear an XL but it's too small. I should have ordered the XL/XXL. I still have the box but all other packaging was disposed of, so I didn't ask for a return and an exchange. I think they run undersized, and that's a common problem when ordering from Asian manufacturers which we do not know upfront.
