I use this product almost every day ti make miso soup, to improve the flavor of many omnivorous & vegetarian entrees, sauces & side dishes. It enhances flavor of: a wide range of sauces, from red or pesto pasta sauce to brown coq au vin sauce; combines deliciously with diverse flavors in marinades & rubs; combines with vinaigrette ingredients to make my favorite salad dressings even more delectable......I have a reputation for being a good cook. My cooking would not receive sych favorable reviews if I were to eliminate this perfect miso, or to substitute another product for it.

Excellent product in so many ways, this is the only one i would buy and have for years.

Great price, good taste, breakfast every day

I grew up in Japan drinking miso soup almost daily. I've tried over 50 brands throughout my life, and by far I love this flavor the best. I don't like miso to be too dark or too fermented, but this is not too fermented despite the label says "red". More authentic miso flavor than "light" one, but not too much fermented smell or flavor. Although two packs look like too much to consume, you can freeze miso. Even after opening, I keep miso in a freezer all the time because it won't get rock hard at all and stays soft so you can scoup it without defrosting.

Been a big fan of this miso. While the taste and color are slightly different every purchase, that's totally okay for me knowing that miso is a natural product and It still taste good.

This is my all purpose go to miso paste. I mostly make broth with it and have ramen or rice noodles and vegetables. It has a medium strong flavor that seasons bland rice noodles but doesn't overwhelm added veg.

SO much better than the bland miso I bought at the store, and better than the other brand I bought here. This has a very intense flavor and aroma. Highly recommended.

El miso a parte de su sabor tan rico, es super versátil. Puedes no solo hacer un caldo o saborizar una crema de verduras. También lo puedes usar como sustituto de la crema de ajonjolí en el hummus, o usarlo para saborizar una masa de pan o unas arepas. La verdad es que para mi, no puede faltar nunca pasta de miso. La verdad siempre he comprado esta marca. No se si hay mejores, pero esta es genial. El ultimo invento, fue ponerle un poquito a unos vegetales salteados. Diluyéndola un poco antes de aplicarla
