Noticeable Difference
The water in my town tastes horrible. It doesn't matter if it is from the faucet at home or from the faucet at work, its just bad tasting. There is also the additional issue of the water having "just safe enough" levels of certain components in it to be safe to drink. I was tired of buying case after case of bottled water and while I have a large filtering pitcher at home, that doesn't do me any good when I am not home. That is where the StayPure Pods come in. I am SO HAPPY I found these. I have tried all sorts of filters for reusable water bottles ranging in price but the StayPure Pods are the #1 choice for me. The taste of the water is noticeably different when using these pods. The difference in taste is most noticeable when the water is cold, however I drink my water around room temperature (or whatever temperature it comes out of the sink at). Now it says that the pods last up to 6 months however due to having so many impurities in the local tap water, I swap out my pod for a new one every 1 to 2 months depending on how frequently I use it. I think it is important to follow the instructions that come with the pod but also to keep your reusable water bottle hygienic and clean in order to have the best experience with this product. Even with changing with pod every 1 to 2 months I am saving money and I am reducing plastic waste because I am not buying so many cases of bottled water. The StayPure Pods are a complete and total 5 star win for me. I don't know what I would do if I would have to find an alternate product because I have not found anything that has worked nearly as well.

Works for our purposes
I use these in my water from the faucet, put it into a gallon jug and fill with water. My area has very hard water, so I use this for my coffee, my drinks and even for my dog's water bowls. I keep one of these in each gallon jug and they work!

Convenient, easy to use, sometimes has a weird taste
I bought this filter because it is convenient, it does not require a water bottle with a straw to work, and it easy to work with. Water tastes good with this filter most of the time. Water does get a weird taste after the filter sits in the water for at least a day. Whenever I refill my water bottle, I rinse the filter with water. After I put it back in the water bottle, the water tastes good again. Doing this solves the taste problem. It does a decent job of filtering the water. I would buy it again.

Clean water!
I bought this in a desperate attempt to have clean water where I was temporarily living. The water at my home and my work straight up tasted like lotion. I have no other way to describe it. The water was literally creamy in appearance and taste. I purchased a zero faucet filter system and this for use at work, where I would need to refill my bottle multiple times per day. I kid you not, this made the water completely transparent and taste like zero water within 20-30 minutes of use. I would take it out of my bottle after work and let it air dry in the dish rack to prevent mold (after seeing some people complain about theirs molding). I've had zero issues and finally felt hydrated and could stop using single use plastic water bottles. If you're traveling or have poor water quality, I'd highly highly highly recommend this little filter!!!! It literally saved me from chronic dehydration.

Not very good
I used the same filter a couple of times. My sink water tastes horrible and I was hoping it would remove some of the nasty chlorine taste out of the water and purify it. It doesn't do much unless you wait to to drink 12 hours later then it does help but if you want to drink water right away then go for some other product. Also it says not to wash the filter itself with soap I still did as the filter accidenly fell in the sink as I'm still moving into a new house and renovating so I had to wash it with soap and it left soap stains on the filter so I had to wash it better so many times until I felt safe enough to give some of the water to myself and my new puppy. Over all I like the idea of this but it would be better if it actually worked.

Perfect for traveling
I am very picky about my water. At home I drink 80-100oz of water per day from my Brita. I travel a lot and get tired of spending money on water and also wasting plastic water bottles; I could also bring my Brita water bottle but it takes up too much space when I’m trying to travel light. I was able to use this in a travel (collapsible) silicone cup and just add ice and tap water, swirl this thing around in there a bit, and enjoy my cold, filtered water just like home. I’m so glad I found this little guy!

Caution too much alkaline water can cause muscle spasm
I thought I should add a caution for those like myself who have neurological disorders. I bought this to help with my Gerd thinking it that might help with that in my digestive issues. But I did not do enough research. For those like me that have issue with there legs and arms you should slowly add alkaline water to your daily fluid intake. I thought you could just drink it like normal water but that is not the case.If you drink too much alkaline water it can cause horrendous cramping in your extremities. The first day of getting the filter I drank 40 ounces and that night I had the worst Charlie horse in my life. I’ve dealt with Charlie horses for over 20 years and I’ve never had that kind of pain and the normal tricks to stop a Charlie horse did not help. And it took several days for my calf muscle to heal. So use caution when drinking alkaline water and slowly introducing into your daily fluid intake. Do your research Alkaline water might not be right for you. Not sure if it’s right for me.
