OkinModel 1.28.000.110.30 Motor Deltadrive Series for Electric Recliner Lift Chair Actuator Replacement

Back in 2004 I bought 6 Berkline Home Theater recliners. While the recliners are 20 years old, the leather chairs are still in great condition - except the Power Supply on one burned out. The store where I bought them is still in business, but told me that Berkline went out of business in 2011 - and parts are no longer available. New model Power Supplies did not fit with the old chair actuator motor, so I had to replace the whole actuator assembly.The Okin Fromann Deltadrive Model 1.28.110.30 works perfectly - smooth and quiet. Replacing the old actuator with the Okin Fromann actuator was pretty simple - held in place on each end with a pin and locking spring. The kit comes with a wired handheld control. I ordered the Fromann 2 Button round Hand Control which is an exact replacement for the built-in Berkline control.When ordering be sure to order the actuator Model 1.28.000.110.30 which is 17.13 and 9.84 inches long. I initially ordered actuator Model 1.28.000.131.30, which is only 15.31 and 8.27 inches long and does not fully recline the chair.

Was not happy with this product on how it worked: when reclining back pressing back button it would jerk you back, when reclining forward it did not hold and it would recede back into chair.

***Buzzwords, to relate to my application: Primia Maxino power reclining chair (mfr model / stock no. models 917287 LAF Chair 58.21010.814 and 917287 RAF Chair 58.21010.245 - together, a two-person couch / loveseat / sofa, depending on your regional vernacular); purchased from Scandinavian Designs in Denver, CO in 2015, for ~$2,400 ($1,049 plus tax for each 'half'). End Buzzwords***This motor was purchased to replace an Okin Refined-R model JLDQ.10.432.253 on our power Primia Maxino recliner couch. The failed unit had prod (production) date 42/15. One half of our couch would get 'stuck' with the foot rest either up or down, with the touch-sensors non-responsive (we could hear the relay click, but no motor action).Replacement was easy, just needed to flip half of the couch over, undo and reconnect a few connectors and pins, and needed a few zip-ties to secure those cut.The new motor did NOT come with a new transformer or longer cords. The power cord (DC two-pin) was almost too short for my application. The control (round 5-pin) plug was long enough.The 1.28.000.110.30 actuation is slightly faster and much quieter than the JLDQ.10.432.253.I hope you find this information helpful.

This is my second purchase for this. I replaced right side chair and now onto the left side chair. Good fit to replacement for chair motor. Power Cord is 1"-2" long, so plan on buying an extension if you need the motor cord to extend to the power block.

Worked great at first, then quit working. Very disappointed.

Unfortunately I couldn’t use the product as I couldn’t obtain the motor necessary to drive the chair recliner.

I installed the unit and it was to long thereby it does not bring the lay out position, sitting position only! My bad!But when fully extended it does not hold in place With or Without load. Unsafe for my elderly user!!!
