Faulty Cables.
I purchased these cables in October for use in my 4u server. These were used to connect an HBA to an Intel Raid Expander card. I'm not sure if my particular cable was faulty or if it's a design issue but these cables never fully seated or fully "clicked" when I initially set everything up. About a week later I started experiencing issues with my ZFS pools. Drives would suddenly disconnect which would cause drive issues. After fully inspecting everything I concluded it was the cables. After purchasing a different brand all of my issues were resolved. I could have just gotten a bad cable, but I would recommend looking for a different option.
