WeMo - WDS060 Wemo WiFi Smart Dimmer Switch (Dim + Control Lights from Anywhere w/App, Voice Control w/Alexa, Google Assistant, Apple HomeKit)

I have other smart switches, but the Wemo is my favorite, it Works great, very responsive. Pairing works fairly easily. You slide your finger up and down to easily adjust, its extremely responsive and dimms the full light range. Also the rule options are very nice as you can have one rule apply to multiple fixtures, whereas other manufactures make you write a rule per fixture. These come with a screwless switch cover but if you want to use them in a 2 or 3 gang configuration the standard screwless covers do not work well and hold down the toggle switch. I switched to a cover that uses screws, which is thinner and it works fine. I just wish they also made a 3-way dimmer too.

These switches were the first customizations I made to my new home. I closed the week of Thanksgiving and had these installed on closing day. Easy to work, just be sure to check and label Line and Load when working. NEUTRAL WIRE MUST BE TIED INTO THE GROUPING OR IT WONT WORK.

Easier to install than Kasa Dimmer switch but support is lacking. Switch works fairly well. Overall, I recommend TP Link Kasa

Seller was very helpful with processing replacement for one of the products. The switch works great, had a slight bug when first using it, probably because I’m using ge light bulbs with Wemo switch, other then that, it works great

I have been trying Wemo for like 2 years. I want to change all the switches in my house and I was thinking about Lutron Casseta and Wemo and finally I went with Wemo. The design and the performance it’s incredible. I was worry about problems with connectivity because Wemo connect direct to the Wifi and Lutron use a Hub, I’m most of the Hub ecosystem but I just decide to change the router of the home and after that everything it’s working perfect. After one month I have not complain at all about this dimmers. I have 26 of the all around the house and everything work great. If you want switches with style and great connection don’t think it twice.

I had bought this dimmer because I wanted a smart dimmer but I really liked the simplicity and style of the old sliding dimmers. This seemed like a great compromise! I was concerned about the fact that it was more expensive than other dimmers but I justified it with the expectation that it was a higher quality product. Boy was I wrong! In practice the touch slider is okay. It is difficult to get the brightness to very dim (<10%) without turning off the light completely and it's also hard to turn the lights to the max because of the design. Of course you can always use the app but that only works sometimes... I've been using this dimmer for about a year now and it is constantly losing connection to our wifi network. The dimmer is very close to our router too so it is not an attenuation issue. I've tried updating firmware as well as the android app but that has not resolved the problems. The led flashes red when it loses connection to wifi and it does so multiple times daily. Occasionally, the led doesn't flash but the app indicates that the dimmer is disconnected and cannot be controlled. Almost every time I press the button, the dimmer registers 2 presses, even though it has only been pressed once. This causes the light turn off and immediately back on again. This seems to be caused by a poor button design. This could easily be addressed by a firmware update to ignore a detected double press, but there has been no such fix released. TLDR; steer clear of this dimmer! The physical device does not work well, it can rarely be controlled remotely, and it's expensive. I would recommend purchasing light bulbs of various brightnesses and a pole with a bulb changer instead of this dimmer.

We love these switches and dimmers. Occasionally, they’ll lose connection to the wifi and drop off for a minute. But overall, very satisfied. Especially when you’re in bed and your wife left the light on. No more rock scissors stones for who gets up to turn it off :)

So far this new wemo dimmer has been great. It has options to select your type of bulb(cfl,led, or Incandescent). You can set your default brightness range which came in handy. There is a nighttime mode to only turn it on to a certain percent. So this thing has everything I’m needing and looking for in a smart dimmer. I’m waiting on some new LED bulbs to come in. However I expect them to work just fine. I’ll be purchasing more in the near future. If your on the fence just get one! You won’t be sorry.
