Kaplan Nursing School Entrance Exam Study Guide: KNAT Exam Prep Book with Practice Test Questions

Important study tool for passing the KNAT
I loved this product! The text was big and the pages weren’t glossy! I was able to read through and understand the material. I definitely recommend reading through it, taking notes on the science portion and applying them to the Kaplan nursing entrance exam (similar to the TEAS). I do also recommend getting another book (for whichever test, they are all the same) that tests you on the science portion. I found two quizzes through ascenia’s program and they helped! The science section is the hardest and has the least questions, making it difficult to score the best. The first time I took it, I passed everything except the science with no studying. The next time I took it (the last time you can take the KNAT) I passed the science section with help from studying the book.Best of luck.. it’s a hard test. You NEED study materials for the science portion especially if you haven’t done all of your prerequisites!

Helped Reviewing for KNAT
I've been reviewing for the KNAT since I only have a month or less to take the exam and this has been helping me. The practice questions were rather helpful and it broke down concepts fairly easily and understandable.

Gives you the basic test prep and builds on it with nursing specific knowledge.
The book is well written. It starts with basic test preparation and then moves on to specific nurse related content. There are several diagrams about the human body to give the readers a realistic view of the human systems. Each system has its own section. I like that the book starts with basic test prep but I do feel that it might be a little long, especially for people that are not good at math. The parts relating to the systems are informative and I think anyone could read this test prep and be able to successfully pass the KNAT.
