I don’t think this did anything for me at all

I had never heard of D-Mannose until I experienced a recurring, very uncomfortable UTI. Since antibiotics only contained the infection briefly, I wanted to find some sort of supportive therapy or supplement that would help rid me of this UTI for good. I discovered D-Mannose, and tried it after seeing dozens of people praise it.In short, D-Mannose worked. I began feeling better after just a couple days, and my symptoms were completely gone after about 10 days. I continued taking the supplement, and have been UTI-free for a month, the longest I have gone without a UTI in nearly a year.The mannose pills from Nature's Instincts were odorless and flavorless, and easy-to-swallow. They did not make my stomach queasy or nauseous. The price was inline with other brands. Thus, they met my needs.Suffer no more with D-Mannose from Nature's Instincts!

This is a hard product for me to review, since there are so many unknowns. I don't feel comfortable giving it anything but a neutral 3 star rating because of that. While I do love d-mannose and have depended on it for years now, it's possible this particular brand isn't the best match for me. I don't know for sure that it has caused me problems, but I had major issues after taking them. There are different "other" ingredients than what is in the other ones I've taken in the past. I think one of them or the combination of them *may* have irritated my bladder or maybe they don't work as well as my normal ones. The pain was worse than what I typically deal with. It wasn't until after I made a possible connection to these and stopped taking them that I started healing. Again, I don't know for sure it was these, and I have made intense changes in eating habits over the past weeks, so that may be more of what has helped with healing. It's been a slow recovery. I don't trust these enough to ever take them again, though. The whole incident has actually left me a bit traumatized.

The most common dosage is 500mg, but some people say take 1,000mg, depending what you're trying to accomplish. D-Mannose has a lot of potential health benefits, but it's not something I would take daily, I would only take for a specific purpose.There are a lot of other brands (like Zazzee D-Mannose) that offer 180 pills @ 500mg for about the same price. That makes this about 3x the price of competitive brands. That's my only complaint - the price.Also, I prefer formulas that contain blends. NutraAlley has a D-Mannose formula with 3 other ingredients (Cranberry, Hibiscus, & Dandelion), 120 veg caps @ 500mg per pill, also at a lower cost per pill.

This product *seems* to work. My wife uses these tablets and noticed a desired improvement in suspected symptoms. A few things to note:- The label proclaims this to be non-GMO, gluten free, and vegan- The label is of a texture that makes the bottle easy to grip- The bottle came sealed with a plastic cover around the lid and a foil liner over the mouth; all were intact- I don't know where this was manufactured; the label only indicates the company for which it was manufactured

This is a wonderful brand of this product. ive had some adverse effects from other brands ive tried, but not this brand. i love that its in pill form with a recommended measured dose. i pop one capsule after sex or if im feeling the start of a uti, and it never fully blooms into an infection thanks to this. ive even had a couple times i waited too long to take one and thought sure id be visiting the doctor, but taking a couple doses hours apart made the feelings subside. just a wonderful product. i'm a 48 year old woman and i have a lot of potential for UTIs and this product has helped me to avoid them tremendously!

So many of these supplements have a terrible aftertaste but not this one. It seems to work. I have heard that lower kidney function can be harmful. I decided to try these to see if I could feel a difference. For the first week, my urine had a stronger smell that I assume was caused by the flushing of my kidneys. Now it is back to normal. I don't feel a lot different but I am hoping this will help keep my kidneys a bit healthier.

I have problems with chronic UTIs and my doctor suggested this supplement to me about 15 years ago. I have tried different brands of it over the years and think some work and some don't. I don't know why. I like this one. I could tell a difference within a day. Some of them seem to give me bad heartburn and I don't understand that either. Fortunately this brand does not at all. I feel comfortable taking it and it works quickly. I'd take this even if you have an antibiotic. It's a great assist and as maintenance.
