GREAT Windshield!
I must say that I did a lot of research on this shield on various GoldWing forums and sites. The feedback was generally great for the SE version (because of it's 6mm thickness), but I honestly didn't want to spend just under $400 for some RainZip and an extra 1.5mm thickness over this one (4.5mm) when the OEM shield is 4mm. So, I gambled and it paid off. I just went on a 500+ ride yesterday to give 'er a workout down in the Texas Hill country. I had the shield one notch up from the bottom. The shield was VERY stable and provided excellent wind protection. I'm just a hair short of 6' tall. And even with my modular helmet pulled up, it still didn't give me much turbulence. I expected the additional flex with the wider upper screen...that goes without saying...but it was in NO WAY any worse than the stock shield. In fact I was quite surprised that it didn't flex as much as I expected. It was a breeze to install. Just search on YouTube for some videos...Cruiseman has a good one where he installs an SE version, but the same applies to this one. The only small complaint is getting the OEM vent to "snap" in. Once I figured it out "Doh"...it was easy. One thing I would suggest, if you take a look at the installation video from the F4 windshield folks, they use a strip of soft Velcro in place of that ridiculous OEM tape on the facing of the dashboard. Remove that old tape that tends to bunch up and replace it with Velcro and the shield will be as snug as a bug and wont bind as much. For those of you that are cost conscience and more practical, this shield is excellent.PS. I ordered the shield from the folks at Kinney Cycles. Had it to me in a few days. Well packed and ready to mount.

Great Windshield!
Way better than the stock shield...Like day and night. The polycarbonate is very thick and sturdy. I did notice a bit of reflection off the dash lights at the top of the shield at night. Easy solution was to dim the dash lights and that minimized/eliminated that effect. Otherwise, another great product from National Cycle. I opted for the shield with the built-in vent and I am glad I did, especially when it is hot outside.BTW, if you are a bit mechanical, you should be able to do the install yourself. It took me about a 1 1/2 hours start to finish and my dealer was going to charge me for an hour to do it. However, be sure to check-out the various instruction videos on You Tube before you start. One of the best is by Kyle Bradshaw from Cruiser Customizing...Way to Go Kyle

Nice Windshield
I have 2006 GL1800 that had the original windshield. I decided to replace it as there were many scratches and chips in from 18 years of use. I looked at a lot of different windshields, including the OEM one and decided to go with the VStream. The installation was straightforward and pretty simple. My old vent fit perfectly in the new windshield. And it does look good on the bike.I do notice that I get a little more wind than my OEM one while I'm driving at highway speeds. I'm going to play with the height adjustment and hopefully that will cure the problem. I currently have it set at the same height I had my old one at.Some of the reviews say that this windshield has less wind buffeting for the passenger. My wife says she doesn't notice any difference. All in all, I'm happy with the windshield. Hopefully long term it'll hold up.

Arrived perfect condition
Fit as advertised on my 2008 gl1800 Goldwing. If adjusted to max height I do get a slight shake when at highway speed. I drop the shield down then raise it 2 clicks and it is solid. For those who don’t know Goldwings ..to lower the windshield raise it all the way up (5 clicks) then the shield will drop toLowest position and ratchet one click at a time. The shield will not lower until you get to the highest position.

Sleek look
The media could not be loaded. Really like the look of the windshield once I got it on the bike. Was easy to install and if you’re not sure on installation there are several videos out to help you. So far so good but need a long trip on the bike to really check it outComplacency Can Kill You

Nice shield poor vent fit
The media could not be loaded. The shield is very nicely built, nice thick material but as many other reviewer‘s have said the stock venting doesn’t fit very well .The cutout is too big any type of movement and space will end up showing around the vent, I guess they’ve got me hooked to buy the v stream vent now as well
