I'm at the beach every weekend.I've used this product for decades.It works and smells pretty good.However, when you go to see your dermatologist and they ask you if you use any kind of skin protection product with an SPF factor in it, it's probably not a good idea to mention this one.They look at you with astonished amazement to see if you're being serious.I told mine "well, yes, it does have an SPF protection rating of "4".They continue to stare at you wondering if you've been released permanently from the mental health care facility where you reside of if you're just out on a 3 day pass.Then they start to look at their assistants because they can't believe what they are hearing either.My dermatologist is pretty cool, though. She left the room and came back in with all kinds of stuff that had SPF values of 50 and higher. She said "Normally we only give out the sample sizes but you REALLY need to start using these other things and I'm giving you the Jumbo sizes which we normally don't do but..."Anyway, we had fun doing biopsies and assorted other FSA (fun skin activities) and yes, I've added the Big Guns skin products to my regimen but I really love this Aussie Gold. It smells good and it's been such a part of my life for so long it's hard to just not use it entirely. So I do a half and half mix to keep her happy and what not.You won't be disappointed with this if you want to use at least something to ward off UV's but still get a nice tan, smell good and keep your dermatologist at bay. Sort of.

I have used the product for over 30 years.. it’s simply the best and will give you a deep dark tan.

Love the way it makes your skin feel. Fabulous tropical scent. Wouldn’t use anything else!!!

I have always used this product out in the sun. I tan really well so I only get the SPF 4. Helps get a great looking tan.

Our go-to tanning spray! My husband and I are big fans of this tanning spray. We go through a couple bottles a year. We like that it has SPF and the bronzer works great! We have generally light to medium skin color. After base layering in the sun throughout the Summer, this product helps us have a medium to tan bronzed tone. It's the best stuff and so affordable compared to other products. The application is so easy too, just spray on, spread out and reapply when needed. No streaks or discoloration. Also the scent is really nice! We will continue to use this and plan on trying the tanning spray for deep tans in the future.

Loved this for summer. I was using oil before and hated how I felt like I needed a shower as soon as I came inside. This stuff has zero oily feel. Smells great. Works great. And I didnt get even a little burn. I'm also super dark so I dont usually burn but sometimes if I was outside long enough with the oil i would burn. Never happened with the Australian gold though. I'd like to also add that the first bottle arrived with the nozzle broken. Just not protected enough in shipping. I contacted Amazon and they sent out a new one no question asked

I bought the SPF 4 by accident but I was SHOCKED by it working better than most SPF 100 sunscreens I’ve used. I am very very pale and have a very red undertone therefore I burn like no other. I tried out this sunscreen today and sat outside in direct sunlight for two hours and didn’t get any burn! I did miss a spot right above and below my bikini top and they are very burned. And that is how I know this sunscreen is a life saver!! Most sunscreens would still leave me burnt after 30 minutes. So worth it!!!!

I've been looking for this everywhere and can never find the 4spf. All my friends have the 8 or 12 and they love it but I sit in the sunall the time so I don't need a lot of protection. I just like that this has some protection so I don't burn just in case I sit out too long. It smells AMAZING. Rubs in so well and not greasy at alllll. Perfect. I love it. Used it the other day and I love how when you come inside you don't feel like you've sweat it off or feel like a grease ball like most lotions in the sun.
