My BRAND NEW Kent Wanderer came with a trashed top dust washer and MISSING the urgent ring (inner race for top bearing) Felt like I was riding a clown bike. This kit provided the missing parts to make a complete headset - perfect match to what was (and wasn't) on the bike.One hint: You'll likely need a large C-clamp or a headset bearing seating tool to press the outer races into the headset tube. The tool is not super expensive, but it IS more than this bearing kit...but makes things SOOOO much easier!

I only needed one bearing to fix a bike, and this kit provided that (and a few other parts I might have needed but didn't).

Arrived with upper and lower bearings in individual packs so parts do not get confused. Easy to remove and replace. I applied a small amount of grease on the bearings. Firmed up the stem, no more wobble.

Unless you have a cheap bike with head bearings totally destroyed then don't bother. It's really not worth the work involved to replace anything that still works with this set.I'll just clean up the old ones and put them back for now.The set shown is not what I received and there's a trashy plastic cone piece to maybe take awy the excessive play? Really I don't know what it's for so I won't bother.No instructions and the assembly shown on the amazon page is nothing like the set I got.Disppointed..

Crown race was not the right size. Diagram claims the inner diameter of the crown race is 30 mm but mine came in at 28mm. This was not large enough to fit my fork and I had to machine 2 mm of material off with a dremel. Was able to work after this modification but be aware of bad tolerances.

This headset was exactly what I needed, it arrived really fast tyvm, it fits a Phatmoto All Terrain frame just fine.
