Used for 13yr olds Halloween costume, worked great!

We bought our son the Batman costume for Halloween this year... the belt that came with the costume really sucked, so we bought this belt to replace the one on the costume. This belt is way nicer than the one that comes with the costume. It's hard plastic, and you can also adjust it if it's too big for your kid (I had to take a couple links out for it to fit my son.... I took them out of the backside of the belt so you wouldn't notice while he's wearing it.) It also has a velcro on the back of the belt to close it. We recommend buying this to replace the cheesy belt that comes with the actual costume if you want a nicer look.

We bought the belt for my son for Halloween and it was too big and kept falling down. He was very disappointed that the items on the belt were not detachable.

Great value for the money - allowed us to complete a Halloween costume with something that my 3 year old son will use long after Halloween. Easy to adjust the size and seems to be pretty durable material.

What's not mentioned in this product listing (or the photo) is that this Bat Belt is intended for 8-year-olds and up. In fact, my 30-year-old female friend tried it on with room to spare. Unfortunately, I was hoping this would fit my 3-year-old.The belt measures about 23" plus 8.5" of Velcro that could easily extend the belt to fit someone with a 37" waist.The good news is that the design allows you make adjustments with only a little elbow work and without destroying the product. There are 8 plastic links on either side that are unsnap-able and can be removed to make a smaller belt. Remove 3-4 links from either side and you're done!I like that this is a simple costume belt and not one that tries to have any function to it, such as attached items that are removable or pockets that can store anything. It leaves more to the imagination and helps to prevent problems and breakage during use.

I purchased this item for myself for a costume. Although this is a child's size, I am an average sized adult woman, and I have no problem with the fit of the belt...especially since my cape covers up most of the belt strap in the back. The components are none functioning, and do not go all the way around the length of the belt (of an adult, anyway, although it may for a child). I am very please with this product!

We bought this for a child's batman costume and he absolutely loves it! I loved that it had a long strip of velcro on the back so that the belt was very adjustable for size. It was long enough that we had to tie velcro behind him. It is good quality and looks great!

Served its purpose as part of daughter's Halloween costume. The belt was too big for six year old. However, my husband easily popped out a few links on each side and it then fitted perfectly! Also, the batman emblem in the center can also pop out. We popped it out to spray painted it pink for her Batgirl costume! Daughter loved it!!
