I waited a while to write a review for this pillow to make sure that it was really holding up. I have now owned it for close to a month and a half and can speak directly from experience. I have been very sensitive to pillows through out my life as I am constantly getting neck / jaw pain while sleeping. I am a stomach and side sleeper mostly so it can be difficult to find something that works well. I have actually had moments of realization especially the past few weeks about how much better I feel when using this pillow compared to other pillows. I do not have a lot of experience with more expensive pillows, so I am glad this one proved worth its value.The build quality is very nice, especially with the option for hot and cold materials to sleep on. I dont pay attention too these much but I am glad they are there. The fabric feels comfortable and made with quality in mind. I wasn't very sure what to expect from the internal material as its hard to notice from internet descriptions. It turns out the material is this very nice soft almost feather like material that is very nice to the touch. It definitely feels like a feather material although is alternative. I was pleasantly surprised by this. The pillow is very full feeling and has plenty of support. At first I was worried it would be a little much and had planned to potentially remove some of the stuffing, but I actually found out how much I liked it. It was a little different to use as it reminded me of real down feather pillows I have slept with. You have to contour the pillow to fit how you sleep. This maybe doesn't suite everyone's preferences, but it is working for me better than I had expected. I have been sleeping very well ever since.As far smells go, I would say that if anything it is as mild as it gets. I consider myself pretty sensitive smells, but I know some people are more sensitive. I didn't have any problems with it or hardly even notice anything at all. Over all its just a comfortable pillow that I forget about when falling asleep.Very happy that I purchased this pillow.

Overall, I'm pleased with this purchase. I was between 4 and 5 stars, and I'd give it closer to a 5 because it really did help my neck pain. I bought this as part of my NY resolution to do more for my body, and one of the first things I decided to do was address the neck pain I had when waking up every morning. Some research and it seemed like my pillow could be the culprit, so I decided to invest. I researched and this was the best combo of things I could find — reasonable price (there was also a coupon available at the time I bought it), reasonable reviews, and had the factors I researched to be helpful for neck pain (memory foam, etc.). It arrived well packaged and I opened it up and tried it out that night — after the first night my neck actually felt better (win!), but I just could not get over the smell. Some of the reviews and even a note in the packaging had pointed it out, and they weren't kidding. Definitely needs a good air out. I ended up having to air it out for almost two weeks — hung it near my bathroom window and kept it open — but the smell still lingered. I ended up emptying out the entire thing onto a big sheet of plastic, spraying some Febreze, and leaving it for a few days. That did the trick. I've been using and loving it since! I have not had a day since that I woke up with neck pain. It's comfy, I love that the filling is adjustable (I put in all of it), good for side and back and belly sleeping. I put my own pillowcase and sham on top so I don't really feel the cool/warm feature, but overall a helpful buy. The smell is an issue, but it's solvable.

We ordered some other brand pillows with similar reviews and a king size as we wanted to match our bedding. We had some older bamboo memory foam pillows we loved and needed to finally replace.After a week of using the other brand pillow my wife and I started having neck pain. We removed fill and put some back in trying to get it right, but still has neck pain.I took apart our old pillow we loved so much and noticed the fill was more of a square shape. Our new pillows were more shaved and thin memory foam.After seeing that Saigon used square foam pieces I wanted to give it a try. Couldn’t be happier I did. They came with extra fill but with me at 6’ tall I took out a gallon ziplock bag full and I am right on. My wife at 5’3” took out around 2 gallon ziplock bags worth and now she is set.There is something very different about this pillow compared to the new other brand. It supports every part of my neck and head evenly and gently, yet firm. My first time putting my head on it, I took a nap.I am very happy.In addition the hot and cold side is crazy! Just holding it up you can feel quickly which side is cooling. I find I really like the cooling side and even through the case you can tell which side that is quickly.Though they didn’t have my king size, this pillow is just better all around.

I am very particular about my pillow and usually bring my own when I go on trips to ensure a good night's rest. I slept well the very first night. I do have issues with sleeping too warm so the cool side feature is a plus. It is very supportive (almost too much) so I do end up pushing it down occasionally to get comfortable, otherwise I'd give it 5 stars. I did take advantage of the pillow's adjustability and found it quite easy to remove filling. Seems well made and materials are of high quality.
