I got these for my 6-year-old nephew and—wow—instant hero status! The second he opened the pack and saw the shiny foil-tastic goodness, his eyes lit up like he just pulled a Charizard (spoiler: he didn’t, but you'd never know based on the excitement level).No duplicates? Check.Super shiny? Check.50 little squares of pure childhood joy? Big ol’ check.He immediately started sorting, ranking, and choosing his favorites. Good verity but not amazing overall.
I got 51 different cards all reverse halos. Maybe I was over expecting from this pack but it was somewhat disappointed. Good verity, good value for the money and I got zero duplicates. Also, the cards were face up so that took away from the surprise

A few dups and Japanese? cards but good on the whole.
This was a really great gift for my son (about to be 7) who is just getting into collecting Pokemon. It had the right number of cards and all were in good shape. They seem real but I can't full comment on that since I am new to pokemon collecting myself. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was because there were 3 duplicates and 8 of the cards were in what I believe is Japanese. I wouldn't have been upset about the duplicates if the listing didn't specifically say 'No Duplicates' and on a similar note if the listing had stated that a number of the cards might be in a different language, I may have chosen a different listing. While if he was just collecting this likely wouldn't be a problem, he is trying to learn how to play the game as well rendering these cards basically unusable.
