Decent (not THE best) globe for the price.
Pretty decent quality globe, I quite enjoyed assembling the item together. Sturdy, rotates just fine, and right details are there (I've seen few globes where it couldn't even get USA right). Just wish the quality was little higher, because I did spend 75$ on it.

Damaged upon receipt.
The globe was damaged upon receipt, although the shipping boxes were intact and showed no apparent mishandling. Pretty discouraging, but not surprising considering the origin. Keep your fingers crossed.

Good quality, it looks like it should have cost much more.
I was looking for a accent piece to put in my living room, with a "den type look" and something my granddaughter could maybe enjoy pondering. This totally fit the bill. I like the warmer color oceans scheme verses the traditional bright blue.

Nice in the photos, but poor construction and quality control
This would be a nice globe at about the $30 price point. It looks elegant from a distance, but up close, quality control is lacking across the board. The globe is composed of cut strips of map that mostly match up, but in certain parts, names of places are cut off where the strips meet, or landmasses don't quite align perfectly. There's a cheap line of tape around the equator that does not securely affix to the globe, and the corners of the map strips bulge up slightly in places. Finally, the top part of the base is not quite aligned with the side pieces, leaving a small crack and lip between the pieces.Overall, a globe of this quality should not cost $75. For that price, I would not expect the issues explained above.

Beautiful and perfect as a soft glowing light at night.
Exactly as pictured and beautiful on the mantle. Perfect for having a nighttime TV room soft glow on without being a harsh light. Map looks lovely.

Beautiful and classy
It looks stately and beautiful, got it as a present for my husband to keep in his home office/study. We had a small issue assembling it, despite the video instructions, as the screw in the base became dislodged. Nothing a good handy person cant fix but still was a little perplexing at the time. It looks great now
