TCMT Dot 3/4 Open Face Adult Helmet for Scooter Moped Cruiser Cafe Racer Retro Vintage Street Bike Motorcycle Helmet

I ordered the helmet on July 16th for a motorcycle safety class that started on August 5th. A week or so before the class start date I still had not received the helmet and the tracking information had not changed. I reached out to the seller and explain the situation. He sprang into action and sent a replacement the very next day and it reached me with a couple of days to spare. Kudos to TCMT for being an awesome seller. I ordered the 63-64, and as often happens it was too tight due to the padding. The padding is removable, but of course I wanted the padding, so I put a 3lb Folder's can into the helmet padding to stretch. (Who knew a folders can and my head were the same size.) This did a very nice job pushing the padding back. Just a helpful hint, you can also wrap strips of cardboard around the folders can to push the padding in even further. The day came and my helmet was ready for the motorcycle safety course (which I highly recommend) and of all the people in my class my helmet was the only one that the instructor complimented. <insert big grin>

The media could not be loaded. Looks great and feels comfortable for the price. You won't regret ordering if you are going for this particular look and a decently comfortable helmet. It won't protect you as well as more expensive helmets, so be aware of that. But for a 3/4 helmet with pull down visor, it works well and is a great value at this price point.

While I have a large head and ordered accordingly, I recommend that you err on the side of too big. In my case, it is still a little tighter than I'd like. Well made, I think.

Bought this for my scooter. It fits perfectly and is not too heavy. I read the reviews and went size up had to give that one away. The fitting was perfect for me when following the size chart.

I give this helmet a 3.5 stars here is why.Disclaimer, I add a smoke visor which DOESNT COME with this helmet. I bought it separately.I just received the helmet and when I carry it for the first time I was very stunned because of the weight.It’s a VERY LIGHT helmet which gave me some doubt about how good it is when we talk about protection and safety. The strap is very primitive and took me about 5 min to figure out how is the proper way to strap up so the helmet would stay right and steady.The inside of the helmet, all the pads are VERY SOFT and just the top pad is hard, literally it’s hard it shouldn’t be called pad, its more like an upper wall of the helmet.Finally, THE SIZE, I must say that this helmet fulfill with the size chart that they have so you WONT have any problem by choosing the correct size you are looking for.

Got this to use with my new electric scooter. It is quite fast, and I needed a road safe helmet. I highly suggest measuring your head and ordering according to the size chart posted. Shipping was quick and item arrived well-boxed and in good condition. I ordered in the shiny black color, and it that is what I received. I love the retro look/feel of this helmet, and the tinted eye shield that slides down or tucks away will be wonderfully useful. Great product! Hopefully I will never have to find out how well it performs in a crash setting, but feels solid and well padded! It will definitely serve the purpose I intend to use it for. I definitely recommend if you are looking for a road safe helmet with some retro flare!

I needed a motorcycle helmet. I could have bought a "Costworth Gold Edition Spaceman-3000 Super-protecto helmet" or some other such modern MotoGP-style nonsense, but ey...I'm an old-school guy. I dig on carbureted bikes. I ride retro scramblers, and not to the coffee shop in the bario for networking. I rock a Schott 118 leather jacket and Hipoint boots. I don't think Harley Davidson has had an original thought since 1968. I'm that old-fashioned.So I bought this helmet. It's a perfect repro of the Bell helmets of yesteryear. It fits well, it's comfortable, and I'm sure it'll probably, likely maybe protect the one brain cell I got left from the black stuff below. I haven't tested that yet, so I can't speak for its construction. It's a helmet, and it looks awesome, and that's its intended purpose.I also got a visor with a flip-down face shield. Now my daughter thinks I look like Jim Goose from Mad Max, which is alright with me. My buddy asked if I splatter liquid metal if I get shot. That's fine too. Because that look is a mood, and one I'm more than happy to live. Yeah, buy this helmet. You'll either look like a retro 90's motorcycle cop out to stop the bad guys or a cyborg out to assassinate the future leader of the human resistance. Plus, I bet none of the sport bike guys or busa boys in town have a bucket like this one!More than satisfied at the quality, the look and the price.
