Dog with genetic stomach issues
I buy this product because it is Hydrolyzed Protein and it is available on Amazon at twice the usual price.

This dog food is perfect for dogs with food sensitivity and allergies. However, this price for it is extremely inflated. There is a well known pet food company (Chewy) where you can get it for much cheaper. They have a full pet pharmacy as well. Sorry, Amazon, I love you most of the time. But for this product you totally are not the best option.

Super overpriced
Its good to my dog but I will not buy the product at almost 5 times the regular price. At that price better get her to a restaurant.

Soy Protein
My dog has inflammatory bowel disease, which is Crohn's Disease in humans (diseases named after humans do not get attributed to animals by the human name; dumb rule but whatchagonnado). So, his body attacks all food & makes him sick. Animal proteins set off his immune system to overreact, so he eats soy protein. He's been eating Royal Canin dry & canned Hydrolyzed Protein. He doesn't love the canned stuff. However, I found that I can add vegetarian dog food without much upset, and wonder if he'd thrive on vegetarian dog food alone. Certainly would be much cheaper & easier to obtain. Btw, I would never line the pockets of someone trying to benefit by my dog's misfortune (accidentally not fed at shelter for some time while being given a very harsh drug for arthritis which MUST be given with food & as a result, his small intestine was permanently damaged) & my desperation to make him comfortable.
