Amerimax Home Products 68006 Aluminum Flashing, 6x50 MF

Does exactly what it needs to do and can be used virtually anywhere flashing is needed. Its fairly thick so its suited for more heavy duty applications. We used to it to close gaps between a patio roof and the house, and it worked great for that. Note that we needed to seal the edge with caulk to be 100% waterproof. Overall great product at a very good price.

Well, it's hard to go wrong with this product if this is what you need.I didn't use it as flashing though, I used it as a backing for our radiators with custom covers. This went over the backing to protect the walls.The material is soft and flexible. It will take regular staples or small brad nails from low powered gun. Cuts easily with sheers. Will scratch and dent easily.When you take off the tape, it tends to unroll quickly.

This was excellent - it took care of my entire sun room back half-wall and protects the upper section better than ever as it sits below the window slope. Saved the day!

After cutting the tape be prepared. The unravel won't take your head or hand off but you may end up with slight bends/folds. I did. Makes it more difficult to use

I like the price and it's exactly what it says it is, a 50ft roll of 6in wide aluminum flashing. I used it to fix a leaky roof joint on my back porch, just tucked it under the shingles about an inch and a half then used gasketed sheet metal screws every couple feet on the roof side. Leaks fixed 👍

Arrived fast! This flashing was just what I needed to finish a barn roof- worked easily and no other issues! Highly recommend!

This was lighter than I expected. It's probably half way between aluminum foil and steel flashing that I have used. I was thinking at first it might be too thin but after working with it a bit, it does seem to be thick enough to stand up to the elements. The benefit to it being thin is that it is easy to bend any way you need it. I used it where I have a straight section of siding that meets the top of a section of roof. Put the top edge under the siding, bent this in the middle and the lower half over the roof. Works well so far and no leaks.
