Not for use with a 10 lb or more Himalayan Salt lamp
I purchased these hoping it would be suitable for a Himalayan salt rock lamp. I have a large rock with a lengthy hole drilled within. So these long tubes fit perfectly. Salt rock lamps are meant to be run at all times. The heat created within the lamp acting with the salt is what will cause the lamp to start cleaning air around it. It's scientific not "mumbo jumbo."Personally, I only run my lamps when I'm at home or through the night. I leave them off during the day. Normal run time is 4-8 hours.Once installed the light was brighter than the usual low wattage bulbs included with the rock. The shine is brighter and gives off radiance. The first bulb lasted a few months. I thought, wow, great purchase. Then I realized I spoke too soon. The next two bulbs exploded within 1 week of regular usage. Just now I'm checking on a bulb I put in a few days ago and this too is busted. It is a pain to carry the stone to a garbage bin, clean out the stone and then search the ground for broken glass. And I have had to do this more than necessary. I think I'll go back to the regular wattage or try a well known brand. Salt lamps use a certain wattage based on weight. If you read reviews about bulbs, it is said that poorly formed bulbs bust often. I didn't break the bank with this purchase but I'm not keen on trying a different batch.

Defective and Dangerous
Put bulb in a lamp. Lamp socket rated for up to 60 watts. Within a minute or so I noticed the socket itself was very hot. Before I could remove the blub blew up and shattered all over the place. When I finally managed to removed the base of the bulb from the socket and clean up the glass from the bulb, I put a different brand bulb, same wattage, in the socket. No problem. Am returning remaining bulbs, would not dare use one of them again.

GREAT FOR SALT LAMPS
I am using these in a SALT LAMP. That means the bulb stays on 24/7 until it burns out. These last a very long time compared to some of the brands I have purchased at the retail store. The stores around me stop carrying "Exit" sign bulbs, which are the same size and wattage. The newer replacement bulbs are not specifically for "Exit" signs, I've been going through them about one every 3 weeks ever since. Ouch! I am extremely pleased with the performance and longevity of the these bulbs.Thank you for a quality product.

Great for salt lamps
This is actually my second time purchasing these bulbs. They fit my salt lamp (~6lbs) perfectly and they last a fairly decent time (last purchase was January 2017). I kept the salt lamp on 24/7 and got ~ 7 months out of each bulb.

Too much heat and light
I bought these for a salt lamp in a small bathroom. They are longer than the other bulbs i have so the heat emanating from the lamp was much more noticeable. Unfortunately the lamp i bought does not have a dimmer switch. The upside is i believe the heat may help keep the dampness and mold at bay after showers. But since I don't want to heat the bathroom up i turn it off in the daytime. The problem with salt lamps is that they sweat when it is humid, so I have to watch out for that.

Don't last very long.
I use these bulbs for my Himalayan salt lamps. They blow out very frequently on average of every 3-4 months. Other than that, they are great.

Hot bulbs, mot
I don’t know what to say. One of the bulbs was broken. The way it was packed and shipped, I don’t see the benefit of asking for an exchange. The bulb is great for salt lamps with no height restriction for bulb. The bulb is too long for my solid lamp that has a core for the bilb.

Let there be light
Loved the long tubular size of these bulbs. Lights up my large Himalayan salt lamp much better than the short bulbs. And, the price is right!
