Outstanding piece of kit
I purchased this as an upgrade to my Kkmoon 4.5" digital microscope. As I am now doing more and more SMD soldering, I wanted a larger screen. Also, the keypad on the TOMLOV, which allows the easy taking of photos/videos, is really useful to me, as I like to keep photographic records of repairs that I have done. What I wasn't expecting was the added image clarity I now get due to the anti-reflection cover. Viewing a PCB I had previously worked on with the cover installed was a HUGE difference. Super clear. Even when I added flux, which usually increases glare. I am very pleased with my purchase. All I need now is a longer USB charger lead than the one supplied to power the unit for long soldering sessions.

Great gift for my dad
My dad does a lot of soldering and intricate electronics work, therefore I decided to get him this for his birthday. He also has a YouTube channel so the video and photo functionality will be really useful for inserting clips into his videos. The only thing I would note is that the user interface isn’t very friendly and it can be quite annoying navigating through the menu to change magnification etc. However, this product is very reasonably priced so I would still give it 5 stars. We even went into the garden and found some leaves because we were excited about using the microscope.

Excellent tool, let down by a couple minor things.
First of all, the image quality, the zoom and the general quality of this scope are excellent.I'm using it to solder electronics. It's been a massive help for that. I have only 2 complaints about this unit:* The lens should be able to be positioned higher up. Even at its highest point it's still a little cozy behind it to get the tools in at the right angles when trying to solder. I've solved this by wedging a piece of a barbecue stick between the lens casing and the thumbscrew that keeps it in place. This could have worked out of the box if only the thumbscrews were 2mm longer.* The side lights are of a fairly stupid design, and short. These 2 things are directly related. If they were the same length but the lights themselves were perpendicular with the gooseneck, it would have been fine. Because they're pointing towards the end of the gooseneck, they require a big arc to be able to be pointed to the object under the scope.I don't use the side lights anymore, relying on the lights around the lens which are excellent, plus an external lamp in the rare occasion I feel the need. With all that said, I'd still recommend this scope. It works well and is good value for money.

Good for pre grading Pokemon cards
I bought this to pre grade Pokemon cards before sending them off to an official grading company. The microscope is easy to set up and has a very nice screen and great quality camera. What I found most useful was the ability to connect it to my PC and view it through the “camera” app for Windows. This allowed me to do measurements in real time. The only downside was that connecting it to the PC made the hue a little yellow, although I think that could be an issue with my PC settings and not the microscope, since the image looked good when using the built in screen.

I regret buying this
The media could not be loaded. As a novice to microscopes, I spent hours comparing options before deciding to embark on my microscopy journey with this particular model. Unfortunately, I regret my choice for several reasons.ProsSuperb Screen: The display is clear and vibrant.Smooth Focus: Adjusting the focus is a breeze.Remote Control: Convenient for hands-free operation.Rechargeable Battery: No need for constant battery changes.Compact: Easy to store and transport.Easy to Use: User-friendly setup and operation.ConsWobbly Height Wheel: The height adjustment is unstable and frustrating.Poor Image Resolution: Images lack clarity and detail.Awful LED Light Adjustment Posts: The LED arms don't stay in place.Frustrating Remote Control for Photos: The remote often switches to video mode unintentionally. No Screen Pivot: The screen is fixed, making viewing angles awkward. No Starter Kit: Lacks basic accessories like slides.Cheap Construction: Feels flimsy and poorly made.Unboxing and AssemblyUnboxing revealed the microscope's cheap construction, with almost every part feeling subpar except for the screen and baseplate. However, assembly was straightforward. Just be careful threading the main post into the baseplate to avoid cross-threading. I had it assembled in a few minutes and was ready to begin. In UseUsing the microscope was immediately frustrating. The main height adjuster (zoom wheel) is wobbly and requires tightening the back screw to keep it stable, which makes it too tight. The two LED lights on flexible arms are dreadful; they don't stay where you adjust them, making them a constant annoyance. The thin remote control coiled cable also got in the way.Image QualityOn the microscope's 7" screen, the image quality appears excellent, and I enjoyed using the screen as it made focusing easier. However, I wished the screen could pivot, as you need to have the microscope and screen at eye level for proper viewing.Fun MomentsDespite the frustrations, I had some fun exploring the micro world. I started with objects like coins and circuit boards, which quickly became boring. Then, I grabbed a few leaves from outdoors and found a tiny bug on one—fascinating! Viewing moss and adjusting the fine focus to see different layers was also enjoyable.Exporting ImagesExporting images to a PC was a major disappointment. While the images looked great on the microscope's screen, they appeared awful on a larger PC screen due to poor resolution. The images are poorly interpolated and over-sharpened, and the video quality is equally coarse, with large AVI files.Remote Control IssuesI struggled to take photos with the remote control, as the camera shutter button often flipped into recording videos, despite the video button being separate. You can take photos via the screens buttons but that just wobbles the camera.Overall ConclusionWhile I had some fun viewing objects on the 7" screen, I regretted buying this microscope. For the price, I expected better quality and at least a few extras like sample slides. The frustrating lights, wobbly top, and poor camera quality led to my regret. I could have purchased a half-decent compound microscope for this price and used my phone camera for better photos and videos.Regrets, I've had a few...

??
I’ve had to return this microscope as there was no zoom to it and is too small for my needs (micro soldering) if you want a microscope to inspect coins or anything other then micro soldering then is a good little tool, but for micro soldering in my experience the space between the lense and the plate is too small. That’s my opinion anyway

VERY poor quality. No zoom functio.
No zoom function which is a basic for any microscope. Not fit for purpose. Avoid.
