I tried or changed everything like fuel line and filter, also changed spark plug then removed old gas mix and put fresh one but still won’t cranked up. So it must be the ignition coil sure enough it was. I start after replacing old ignition coil and put the new one in. the rest is history, I got my trimmer back running like new….

My Personal issue with my Echo SRM 225 was solved with this Coil
My Echo Srm 225 was not.I did replace my carburetor and still didn’t work.I did replace the fuel lines and still didn’t work.Last thing to replace the ignition coil, even though my previews ignition coil was giving me a decent looking spark, So I just decide to get a new one. And here we go that was my issue, My weedeater started right away.

Works Great until today
Update. Well it lasted until June 1st, 2024. Guess I should have gone with the OEM one instead. Save your money. Got my Echo CRM-225 trimmer running again! Even though my spark tester showed I had spark, it wasn’t strong enough to start it. I’m all for buying OEM parts but sometimes saving money is nice too
